danielsluiters Posted February 26, 2014 Report Posted February 26, 2014 Hey Guys, I would really appreciate your knowledge on this one I need to replace the clutch on my KE70. It is running a 4AGE 20v Silvertop Turbo with a T50 gearbox Now i bought the car with the conversion done so have no idea what clutch they have used. Do i order a clutch for a 20v e.g. ae101 4age clutch.... or for something that runs a t50 e.g. ae86 4age... I'm scared the teeth wont be the same on the place and the box? Because they are differnt sized clutches right? and i will be ordering in from overseas (a nice puck clutch from ebay.. link me to what i need?) so don't want to get the wrong one as ill have to do the change over within a day as its my dailey driver! Thanks in advance Daniel Quote
crunk81us Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 I think u might need to drop the box, measure the clutch and put it back together.. Order clutch and now that you can drop the box and replace it in like 2hours (having done it before) u shld b able to piss it in. Or Not sure if 20v have same bolt holes on crank, as 16v?? can u just order a clutch and lightweight flywheel combo? Then u know they will fit. Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Not sure if 20v have same bolt holes on crank, as 16v?? All 4AGEs have the same crank bolt pattern. Further, smallport 16v cranks are identical to 20V ones Quote
