Nutta1 Posted February 5, 2016 Report Share Posted February 5, 2016 after purchacing a KE30 recently matching number vehicle. needs a little tlc but is rust free and original which has pointed me in the direction of rebuilding the 3k motor i like the idea of injection so the question is does the 7k injection manifold set up fit a 3k motor or am i better off sourcing a 5k motor and going down that avenue. i want to keep it looking as original as possible Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LittleRedSpirit Posted February 5, 2016 Report Share Posted February 5, 2016 Id think the ecu would be struggling to feed a frugal motor 500cc below, its a lot of fuel metering difference even if the efi manifolds and sensors can be adapted.
