Expanding or flaring fenders recommendations + wheels and tires

Hi All,

I am a new user on the rollaclub.  I have a 1981 Station wagon 2 doors. I would like to expand all around the fenders or flare them I have read that some users like to expand 35mm.  If I decided to go with 35mm should I up my wheels and tires to a R15?

Hi.

 

Its not all about diameter, I like the look of anything from 13 to 15 inch, but its all about the correct offset to space them perfectly under the arches.
