mumblezzz Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 I've picked up some pretty blue and gold anodised sleeves from fulcrum for my front struts but I'm baffled as to how they are actually attached. They look like they're made of alloy so they can't be welded to the strut. Are they press fit or do you need to attach a steel collar of some kind to hold it in place? I noticed Fook was using the same product but i can't see how its attached to the strut. Any ideas? Quote
demuire Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 Yes, need a steel collar welded on and the sleeve will just sit on it. BTW, I'm having major issues trying to get these engineered (upwards of $1K), so if you're worried about that don't put them on. Quote
mumblezzz Posted April 30, 2004 Author Report Posted April 30, 2004 I was tossing up whether to use my current coilovers in the blue car and just replace the shock with my new ones. But I'm pretty sure the current strut is standard length which wont work with my new short strokes without a big ass spacer. Quote
