Motorkhana kicks ass! I had so much fun today. I'll be back for the next one. We had some problems earlier in the day with the front guards having some clearance issues with the tyres but we found a mop in the shed that did the trick. The first few runs were the usual sideways antics but after i realised a 1942 auto honda civic wagon was beating me, out came the race face and it was time to deliver some corolla dominance :y: Funny how a little less right foot = about a 3 second drop in times. I even got a little shard of glass for 2nd most improved throughout the day and my co-driver Andy got "Most determined" :P Determined to kill my motor.

The corolla has the factory AM radio.... Which doesent work. The cressida has a dodgy Jap double DIN CD/MD player.... Neither of which work properly. So its just local radio stations. I find myself singing to myself a lot when driving. :(

The later model with the bolt on ball joint are longer than the earlier press on style. I used the earlier ones in my AE86 and it gave me about 2.5 degrees.

To me they didnt make a noticable difference, but it was free so I didnt care.

Clown: If the wheel sits too close to the indicator stalk, try looking for an AE86 boss. They use a similar steering column and the boss should be longer. Xany: The splines are the same but the little holes for the plastic knobs to make the self cancelling indicators work are different on some models. I drilled a couple of little holes in my AE86 boss kit to bolt it onto the cressida. otherwise it works fine.

I wouldnt stress too much about the exhaust, its still looks a shitload better than the stock cast job. I wouldnt stress too much over the placement of the O2 sensor. I have tried numerous types of stock ECU's and none of em gave a shit whether it was plugged in or not.

I'd say go for it. As long as the loom isnt too hacked up it can be made to work quite easily. Injectors are there and the extractors look like TRD i guess. doesent really matter anyway. Yeah make sure you get the gearbox mount as well.

Can I be the first to f@$kACA18! :hug: Unless your doing a full rebuild go the 4A. I've killed two and one wasnt even mine. Every person I know with a CA has either spun a bearing or blown a head gasket. I strongly advise a full rebuild if you go a CA otherwise you'll be pulling it out very soon. I used to like them but now I hate looking at the pecies of shit. no love for the CA.

Oh shit I forgot do you need a CAMS license? Mine expired and I keep forgetting to renew it.
