86's are everywhere if you know where to look.

There are a few things that will be atteneded to before the 12a goes ahead such as the body roll problem and the open differential problem and the sticky caliper problem. Theres no rush as my mate still has to build the engine and sort out the fuel system and other little things. I may even toy with some 4age power. Maybe i should just buy another 86 and build that up? $$

yes the thing is, i was originally going to put money into other areas like suspension, diff, body etc and then go with a 16v 4age as I'm not really after big power. But this offer for so cheap has got me thinking 8. I was thinking of purchasing another 86 and making a project of it so i can still get to work and such. Oh and redline is merely a suggestion.

A friend of mine has basically a complete 12A turbo engine in his garage and has offered to do an engine conversion for me for extremely cheap. It is my understanding that this wont be legal but he seems to think it is. What i want to know is if its a good idea? Can it be engineered and if so what sort of work would be required to get it to pass? also what would be the best way to go about strenghthening the chassis. I was thinking roll cage and seam welding or is seam welding a waste of time?

My clutch master cylinder is dumping its contents onto my left foot and i've noticed the clutch master cylinder off other toyotas look similar to an AE86 one. Is it possible to one of these instead of an AE86 one?
