  1. Thats awesome!1 I'd rock the pikachu mobile for sure.
  2. Drift monkeys are so 2002. :doublebird: How long were you at the drift day for. I didnt see you anywhere. I got a lift up in a mates Century.
  3. Yeah nothing a sledgehammer can't fix though. :doublebird:
  4. Maybe you should lay off the chilli bean mix :doublebird: but seriously, check the rubber seal around the boot and check for any holes in the exhaust and again around the boot. My bootlid is warped and the seal is flogged so I get gassed whenever I drive anywhere.
  5. I thought it was a TE71 trueno.
  6. Thats an expensive fender bender.
  7. daYuM!!!!!1@ DAy bE straight uP tHugGin fO' shO!!!11
  8. AE101 is MAP.
  9. I forgot to add. You will need to use the front half of the AE71 tailshaft and the rear half of the T-18 tailshaft for it to fit properly.
  10. Some dumb bitch in a Forester or Outback or something. She was reading a map while driving and wasnt looking where she was going. Damn subaru drivers.
  11. Damn! Sounds like it was a good party to me.
  12. It was indeed. Got hit up the arse while parked outside my mates place.
  13. I've got a mate who's AW11 got written off. I'll ask him if he's interested in selling the engine. Dizzy wont be a problem with an AW11 motor.
  14. Going from my experiences in light rain, I would say a locked diff would be a bad idea in snow and icy conditions. My car is very twitchy and even taking corners slowly brings the tail out when wet.
  15. Kiwi, do you know a guy named Sam with a KE70 panel van?
  16. hey hey, its not how big it is, its what you do with it. or something like that.
  17. If someone is organising this I'm definitley willing to drop the extra cash for a cusco RS at that price.
  18. I'm keen for a TRD diff for around 1100 to my door. Hmm I wonder if it would be even cheaper to get it sent to the relos over in NZ and get them to bring it over as luggage.
  19. Just say it runs on super and pray they don't have a sniffer.
  20. 86 I beleive when all new cars had to be unleaded.
  21. I would assume with all the weight reduction on the sprinter it would be on the low side of 900 if not less than 900kgs. Then add in the trailer which I assume is around 5 - 600 mark. Plus extra tires, axles/spare parts and a tool box.
  22. Yeah I've considered the commodore/falcon route. Sure its probably the smartest option but I just don't think I could bring myself to drive one. I've got mates with VN's VS's and EL's etc and they're just shitboxes. Noisy, rattly and uncomfortable. Something I'd expect of a thrashed out 20 year old corolla but not a 10 year old family car.
  23. Yeah I considered a hilux but i was after something that was still comfortable to drive around in normally. FWD isnt really good for towing and if I picked up a soarer I would just spend money modding that. I guess what I'm after is a car that I can use normally with towing ability.
  24. I was considering purchasing a tow car as the sprinter is becoming more and more painful to drive on the street. Plus I was after something a bit more comfortable to drive around daily. requirements are Decent towing capacity fairly new ie late 80s early 90's pwr steer, A/C etc preferably a toyota i assume auto would be better for towing but I would prefer manual as it wouldnt really see that much towing. RWD obviously as far <10k as possible <5k would be better All I can think of that fits that description is a MX83 cressida. Tidy examples can be picked up for around 5k and they come with all the options I want but I'm open to suggestions if you think theres something more suitable. Also what would just a basic car trailer be worth? New or second hand? Are some better than others? Discuss.
