I tried killing me 4k, which was owned by some old fart - Killed the gearbox instead! :P its survived 2 years so far, and al ive done is new head gasket and carby kit. And havent got it 2 valve bounce yet - not trying hard enough! (only got 154000 kms on it) :D

Well i used to have a coke bottle, but i went out and bought one of them 'breathers' from autobarn. they look like a small filter and just push on to the rocker valve. They sell at about $12-$15 at any auto store. their worth it and they look cool! :P

i changed plugs and accellerator pluger, running' good now. still gotta get motor check... she's leakin' a bita oil around the top of the block. this could be causin' bad speedo. looks bad but I'm gonna head the gasket replaced as soon as i have time 2 do it! And can u relay the starter solinoid ya self, coz it aint gettin enough pwr. had alternator, solinoid and starter checked to day. and all good... oh, and i havnt changed diff or tyres... yet!

well is stuffed around with the feul module put it back in and it strarted working again. i don't know what i did but its working now, but me speedo is out by 10-20 kms! And you can take out the feul module without removing the feul tank, u just remove the parcel shelf and work from there (ke55). also, on me travles to work (1/2 hr) the car will stall if idling and sounds like its running on 3 spark plugs. would any 1 have an idea what could be doing this. iv'e check and relaced things like plugs leads rotor button etc... chears

I'm having trouble with me fuel gauge. igot it woking again but its not accurate and only works sometimes. would it be the gauge itself or the module in the fuel tank?. I ran outta petrol last week so it want to fix it before it happens again. I'll appreciate any suggestions. Thanks. :dance:

Cheers :doublebird: Could be coz the exhaust brack that goes on the side of the gearbox is missin'. its not really an egg fart smell :P , but my bootlid looks like a mexican wave, coz i pissed someone off and they smashed it up sob . I have to get the exhaust check in the next day or 2 anyway, so it might pay to have it all looked over properly! ;)

It smells like burnt oil fumes i have NFI where its coming from :doublebird: , and ive just had the flange gasket replaced at the mufler place.

Ive been doing a bit of work to me car this week (points, plugs, distributer, air filter), and ive noticed that when I'm about 60-70km/h, i can smell fumes, but only with a window down. I'm not running a standard air box and filter. What would be causing this? :sad:

What is better to run in a 4kc motor without putting stainless steel valves in, unleaded or premo unleaded?

mate your motor should be a k4-c. it should be imprinted into the block on the drivers sie of the motor, and looking at some of the specs of the engine, i would say it is a k4c. they're are a good engine. mines done 142,000 km, first time around and no rebuilds.
