Getting Past Website Restrictions @ Work/home

For a while now, they've been banning sites at school, like the porn and gaming sites (damn, where would a schoolkid be without porn)... then they blocked eBay.. that was the final straw

This is where the important bit comes in... follow these steps...

 

Step 1) Go to www.google.com.au

Step 2) Search 'hidemyass'... go to the first link there, and click the 'cached' link just underneath the description

Step 3) Type the address you want in it, do the verification code, and wa-la - the website is there, regardless of whether it was blocked or not and doesn't go down in your history :good: as it access's it through a 'proxy server'

 

This might not neccesarily be new to you.. but there ya go, what I learned...

you realise that once the sys admins see a heap of traffic going to hidemyass that they'll just block it...

Perhaps if your system admin had half a brain, he would, but my one at school is a dickhead that knows nothing about computers and acts like he's the shit...

I will post up a list that I found on the net of similar sites, there is alot of them out there...
