reCOUPErator Posted June 26, 2006 Report Share Posted June 26, 2006 hmm... i only got a rear sports muffler into a 3 inch tip, looks good sounds ok... wish it was louder. i payed $119 fitted, cos they had to do some fair work cos i was putting a 2 inch muffler onto a 1.5inch pipe, and then into a 3 inch tip! ToDa30/4 Posted June 26, 2006 Report Share Posted June 26, 2006 Mate best u go see em ,ive only had full stainless systems built by D&T ,MX5 with extractors ,full 2" stainless system $1300 , GT4 3" dump to 4" cannon all stainless , Hi flow cat etc. $1600.ive been told the way to go for KE's is 1.75 to 2" system with extractors 2 long resis & a baffle type muffler. u might pay $300 for extractors & around $400 for a mild steel set up. Â goodluck, be ware some places will charge a lot for not so good products, for example we got a cat back 2.5 on the commodore, with 1 sports muffler and it went back 3 times, on the 3rd he replaced the whole cat back system. remrusty Posted June 27, 2006 Report Share Posted June 27, 2006 Hey i know walker do a sports exhaust with tuned headers too, with a part number straight out the book for an AE92, so its like an 'off the shelf' which means you maybe able to fit them yourself or with mates to save on the labour.
