Hey guys got a couple of questions regarding Carb on my 4k, I purchased a carby rejetted and set up for the 4k it runs mint but I have a bunch of vacuum lines I don’t know where they go or what the are for any help is much appreciated just trying to find if the are needed or for air con etc 

This is the factory diagram for the vac lines, I marked the ones I blocked off (with a  short bit of 4" nail inside the hose..) and the others I kept hooked up.

Awesome so red dot blocked off on the vacuum diagram ? The carb is a restored carby off a 4k genuine Toyota, one more question you might know the answer too my air cleaner won’t sit on carb due to these vacuum inlets leads me to believe it’s a carb of a later model Corolla with air con ? 

Also is there a spacer in between carb and air cleaner ?

Yep, I cut a 5-8mm length of nail that jammed inside the hoses and left the hoses in place. Not that any cop ever looks at pollution gear in Aussie..

I don't know about the air cleaner, there must be some differences in the models, but I can't see aircon would make that much difference.  There's just meant to be an 'L'-section rubber O-ring on the carb to seal the air cleaner, I'm sure you've got that somewhere.

Does the air cleaner hit the choke cable in the top picture?

Yeah it’s hitting the whole choke cable and vacuum assembly at the back of the carb (top picture) thinking about putting a ramflo air cleaner or something similar

Find a KE70 air cleaner housing. They will be at the wreckers if you're lucky, our local one has them I expect.
