hi, usually wen using the factory auto box loom, the 4 wires usually are reverse light wires (2 wires) wich complete the reverse light circuit, and inhibitor switch (also 2 wires), id personally connect the 2 black wires together and put ignition on and check to see if your revrse luight are on, then i would connect the other to then try start it,

thanks for all your replies, no I'm not located in the penrith area, this model corolla is a windowless panel van but had a window cut out and made to fit into a newly cut out hole! pics of engine bay and interior will be posted up tomoro if it aint raining!!! cheers guys

This is the one that was in the auction i bought it off a guy who got it from there, lol he relised it was a slap job so i bough it off him! id like to meet the original owner i think he may live in the newcastle area coz the car came with a engineers certificate from up that way

hi all, few pics of my lil red rolla file finish dead straight and rustless!!, will post up pics of re trimmed interior and engine bay, i bought the car red but had a horrible paint job so i spent many hours and dollars getting it in tip top shape, 1.3L injected engine, 5 speed, microtec zorst and bla bla bla, you see the rest wen i post up more pics soon,

thanks parrot, that will make my job much easier finding out wots going on In my ke16, although it is a 1967 model panel van! there must be a major issue sumwere in the wiring cause now the wipers don't work, the horn stopped also :bash:

thanks guys , it was doing in my head, ill double check it in the morning and ill let youz know what it is, my parker lights work fine, but my horn has stopped iv diagnosed the horn but no fault or short there so I'm guessing sumthn else!!! cheers fellaz!

hi all, i have a ke16 but it keeps blowing a fuse, the fuse that keeps blowing is the sixth one from the top, if anyone has the cover that tell you what fuse goes were please send me a pic so i stop hacking at my wiring deeper and deeper!! I'm sure a ke10 or 11 or 15 may have the same fuse box cover or and digrams etc please your help will be greatly appreciated, thanks all

hi , the fat postivie always goes on the 10mm bolt wich is str8 forward, and the other 2 wires are usually a positive signal from the battery wich tell the alternator there is a 12v battery in use, and the othe wire runs into the dash were your little charge light is, that particular wire usually runs thru the alt as a negative completing the circuit wich lights up the charge light on your dash, once the alt starts spinning then that wire becomes positive cancelling the light on the dash because the globe now has 2 positives one on each end of the globe,
