  1. Bit more being done, this time the top arms being done and now all linked up and quite rigid,

Tested tyre width and seems 255 wide tyres fit, and could go wider when the leaf's are dropped out

  2. Wow 12 months since an update of any, I did say it time gets away,

So here is what the rear originally looks like, simple and proven of course,

But thats not how I roll, opted for a 6 link, which enables full adjustment for street, track and circuit work

Top arms to be tied in the back of the cage, box links on the floor, coilovers and brembo brakes on the rear should do the trick

  3. I thought I had a k series twin carb manifold in the bag on ebay today.

I was watching it end at 8am and some shit piece sniped it right out from under me at 2 seconds to go.

    I will DESTROY YOU!!!

don't be surprised if that person is on this forum, and see this, haha

Prolly sell it for more too, check the classifieds perhaps.....

  4. So after getting power to the hoist, gave it a test before putting the Sled on,

Given the instructions were in another language and no experience, surprise i managed to piece this together and not have any dramas at all, and cheering that i have space on top to allow for a larger car,

Although it might not look it, the height of the arms at 6ft (1800mm) and i can walk under it given I am a bit over 6ft, so will be handy, no more of this rolling on the ground business

And here is a pic of the rear end of the Cortina,

  5. So did some re-arrangements in the shed, as getting the yard setup for the driveway and pool, and like to keep everything in check (non-OCD) as having the entire block levelled and some landscaping etc,

However brought another Toyota, this time a XT130 Sedan, aka The Sled, Automatic 1X, now working some 10mins from home, none of the CBD train business

And here is how she looks after being levelled, so tidy and ready for some plants, alot bigger in person I must say

  6. So got the hoist bolted down, and hooked up the cables, and hydraulic lines etc etc, now to wire it up, prolly just the 15amp plug just hang from the roof, to allow for the welder and air compressor, as i have one near the mains board (from the power box) on its own switch,

Just need to retro fit the current benches, into shelves, and categorise all items, get the bench with reasonable space and a work light before the Cortina comes back

  7. So here is where I started like most of us, trusty DLUG, where the daily sits on the driveway,

    both2.jpg

Then after selling NISROLA without the engine, things started to get out of hand in terms of space, which I'm ashamed to show

    004_zps981d8269.jpg

Moving forward and back into the other house, this bad boi measuring 9x12m, #sizematters, in a residential area tucked away on a 1200sq block, the pool is going in near the shed

Having had to clean up other peoples mess, heres where i got to while moving house

    20140730_212915_zps55f5d7d5.jpg

Starting to work on the Cortina with space, after mounting the escort rack and pinion, dropped the SR20 from NISROLA back in

    20140824_112328_zps4e8841a4.jpg

So next addition is a hoist, having a forklift helps moving 700kgs

    20140901_185333_zpse10eb701.jpg

This is just standing freely ATM, but seems I'm now popular not only my BBQ skills, still yet to determine workshop fees

    20140901_201155_zps13deb43a.jpg

I have just recently installed power to the shed, with fluro's all round, 2 x 15amp plugs and many power plugs instead of leads everywhere, there are plenty of benches atm, but about to renovate the house and kitchen so have many items still to be stored, not as tho i have enough space

    Updates to follow

  8. Only draw back of living next to neighbours as you have explained, is the fact is your house and items safe,

All good to repay the amusement from the night before, but they might go one step more (as often demonstrate)

Hit the gym it is, or boxing

    nice build OT
