how you find out what diff you got ? is there a name casted into the housing or something ??

so what i understand of this 5k pistons will fit in the 4k block with a little boreing? but before this get it sonic tested ? any other things i have to do to the block so i wont have any troubles in the future ?? cheers

hey philbey, what cam you got, and is it lumpy ?? and can you just use the standard 4k collets and retainers with the 4220??

hey guys, i'm new to the whole engine build thing but i bought a 4k-c and after a lumpy cam. what cam do you guys recommend and what needs to be done once i buy the cam?? and what else do you guys recommend for more power? any help is valuable :)

ok so from what i understand here is that 4k-e pistons and rods are the same as 1g pistons and rods. YESS??? and do they just slide straight in or do i have to mod them up??

he guys, I'm a rookie as this stuff but i just bought a 4k to drop in my ke30 but i really want a nice lumpy cam like my 3k had. you guys have any idea for a cam with a grumbly lumpy cam and was else is recommended to while engine is apart for a little bit more power and a rough price ??

yeah thinking of rebuilding it aye. i have a lumpy cam in my old 3k can i just put it in my 4k once i get the lifters done with it ?? if not whats the best cam for a 4k to get the lumpy sound on idle .

mines a 5 speed should it matter ??

i already got a weber carby on my 3k so ill just change it over aye . and does the 3k 5 speed bolt straight onto the 4k ?? thanks guys for your info :) buying a 4k tomorrow for $150 woop woop :)
