I wont be selling it half done ive really enjoyed driving the old ke and I want to finish it but I'm just at the point were I'm running out of places to store all my toys stuff like the motor didnt even need to be done I just had a 4k lying around and didnt want it going to waste so far the engine bay is done motors ready to drop in so hopefully saturday shell be driving again

Hey guys just wanna get some opinions on my ke30 2door I'm going to be selling the old girl in about a month or so and I really don't know what the asking price for these things are She is gutted atm so pics do it no justice but shes got rego till jan next year has never been unregistered and I have all the original log books even the seat belt operation manual haha Engine 4kc 260' cam reco head ported dcoe side draught rebuilt bottom end all new bearings, gaskets snd seals hasnt been put in car yet Drivetrain 4spd manual borgwarner diff reset leaf springs with 2 extra leaves cut springs at front all new bushes tierods ball joints 13x6.5 hotwires standard brakes Body All rust has been ground out plated and fiberglassed brand new front gaurds engine bay, boot and under car is completely sound deadend getting painted gloss white or matt black not sure just yet has all chrome gutter, sideskirt moulds Interior R33 skyline front seats velour original rear seats carpet and door trims have seen better days and have speaker holes in door cards hood lining has a few tears hid head lights venetians Just want to know what your opinions are I just have to many cars and just want to know if its worth holding onto or not Got some pics of before I stripped her

Lol for 60 bucks I'd set it on fire I'm just curious because I'm halfway through building a decent 4k for it and just wanna figure out if it's worth putting it in if I end up having to sell it or just cut my losses because I don't see many for sale and when I do there paddock ornaments that haven't been on the road for years I bet your 2door is with a few coin NISROLLA but I couldn't imagin how much you've spent on it
  4. Sound alot like a Brocken bracket for a steel pipe sort of like when you have a Brocken exhaust bracket try feel around the engine bay for the vibration
  5. Hey guys Just curious as to what a ke30 2door is worth these days because I may be selling mine in a couple of months unfortunately I don't see many getting around mainly just 4doors and when I bought mine I had to buy 2 ke30's to get it are the 2doors sort after or no any opinions?? Cheers

Haven't got any pics at the moment I got a Bosch distributor at home I'll pull apart and get pics of but would be a good chance to freshen up your dizzy if you think your engine is pinging like I said before it's hard to pick without hearing the engine rattle because if your dizzy was playing up it may also cause a flat spot while driving more of a process of elimination at the moment
  7. That's pretty right I run about 8-10 with the vacuum hose off If you have set the tappets and adjusted the timing and you think it may be detonating try pulling the distributor out and make sure sure the bob weights haven't seized
  8. Some where I can see the video ?? Do you have a timing light to set your timing
  9. Free play in the accelerator sounds like the cable check and make sure its not hooked on anything it shouldn't be you should only have a few mm slack before it opens the throttle and be careful not to tighten it to much or it pulls the throttle on slightly
  10.  Most definately have to keep that in mind does it only do it when the car is cold?? My car flat spots when it's cold but I warm my car before I go anywhere so don't really have the issue But good idea is to check your points haven't frosted or corroded and the gap is correct
  11. Did the rotors get replaced or machined?? Maybe the rotor is distorted but when they are you will feel it through the brake pedal it will pulsate if the rotor is warped where abouts are you located I may be able to help out with it There's the clearances for you hope it helps

Ok that's a lil confusing about the manual but you can trust me I'm a mechanic  When the arch arch is non existent or there's only a couple mm left of the friction material you should change them and best off getting new rotors or have them machined because new pads don't wear in very well on old rotors because the tend to warp from the heat of using them Hope that helps Cheers Jaesn

The little bit in the centre with the little arch cut out is your brake material and it looks like you got plenty there so don't be to concerned that they haven't been changed in a year My mums Telstar has had the same brake pads for atleast the last 5years as a matter of fact I serviced it last week and I think they've been growing lol
  14. 1 not easy to pin point with out seeing the car but best thing to do is set your tappets first then ignition timing there's no problem having a Bosch distributor my ke30 had one all the info should be on the sticker on your air box 2 what kind of shuddering because the ball joints tie rod ends ect should have been checked as a rego item
