  1. @springerrolla: would you mind taking a photo of the side with all the auto choke stuff? (i have an auto choke one as well but disassembled).
  2. oh cool, What size engine is it out of? Will just bolt straight up nothing extra needed? and how does the auto choke connect up and work with the manual choke? And the jetting will be all good?
  3. @springersrolla: did you end up getting those pics?
  4. So I got this for 10 bucks off trade me, but i don't know what it is off. Can you all help me? there is also a stamp under the level with US1
  5. So all done!!! But there has been a couple of odd things since: 1. When the new master cylinder was fitted and while the car was off and i depressed the breaks, there was an air leak from the gap between the break booster and the master cylinder? (yes i put a gasket in). 2. i have noticed what sounds like the break pads now rubbing on the disk. Is that normal seeing as i have replaced the master cylinder and bleed the breaks?
  6. All done. will post a photo of it tomorrow!
  7. Hi all, today i noticed something odd. my right indicator light would half light up when i braked and that with the headlights on sometimes the indicator would stick or be unresponsive. I have so far figured it has to do with my steering column. it was also messing with the right hand brake light. Has anyone had this happen before? Does anyone know what it might be? How can I fix it? Conah.
  8. Ok so got a new break master cylinder. This thing will bolt right in correct? no fiddly business or anything right?
  9. Cheers dude! I plan to buy a new one from repco in the next few days and didn't want to take the thing off and find it doesn't fit.
  10. So it has come to my attention that the master cylinder on my 76 ke30 is on its last legs (have to double pump the breaks any time I want to stop, the lines are all good and the brake fluid isn't going down quickly). the question now stands. Are k series master cylinders all the same or interchangeable?
  11. I just went to an auto electrician. charged me $40 all up. I don't have hazards now, but i don't need them for a WOF in NZ so thats cool i guess. Also the indicator is now silent. :) cheers for your help mate. at worst I could buy another and just hook it up for the hazards.
  12. @killar_of_giants: Funny enough, i did that today and the flasher was quote "ʞ©$ɟed". so Ill hit up Break and Transmission/call toyota tomorrow. repco didn't have shit. So can you buy new ones from anywhere? or can it be replaced/upgraded with something newer?
  13. Its not as far out as i thought. I had patched it up prior with a bolt in the other side and a washer to keep it from jiggling around too much (Warrent people don't like that much). I could try cut it though but then id have half a bolt stuck in one side. I'm going to try to scratch a dent in it to screw driver it out.
  14. Ok corrections time. my friends said the points where fine. I said ill replace them anyway to be sure. turns out they where ʞ©$ɟed 5 ways to Sunday. Car runs fine now. just a touch rich. Thank you for all your help. You have been beyond helpful.
  15. @Taz_Rx: no hazards. nothing working to do with the indicator. when i flick it. the green arrow lights up for about half a second. @Banjo: reading.
