  3. Went to order harder rear springs and this happened
  4. put my new clutch in doesn't feel the best with a very high release point but I'm told these clutches can do weird things for the first 1000kms while they bed in so ill see how it goes also had another couple of rockers break on me had some hand brake issues so decided to strip the rear callipers down and do a quick clean and rebuild and also found that the crank breather between the bottom end and the rocker cover is suppose to have a restricter in it so i pulled it out of the original pipe and put it in the new one
  5. The heavy duty clutch i was running started to give up so i bought a hhdb exedy clutch and picked up a blown rb25 box so have a play with while it was apart, seem too all fit in pretty well so ill look at rebuilding the box and replacing the 20 box in the future
  6. it gets driven daily, my only car at the moment
  7. Upped the fuel system 1700cc injectors Holley dominator 1400 pump Aeroflow surge tank 1/2inch feed 3/8 return Once it got a bit of fuel back into it the power figures got a bit more realistic too
  8. Got the car on the dyno last night but quickly ran into some Fuel issues before we got much done. So now i got some 1700cc injectors, Ordered a holley 12-1400 fuel pump and am sorting out some 1/2 inch hardlines and a better surge tank
  9. splitfires showed up today so put them on, just waiting on a wastegate now couple of before and afters
  10. so after seeing the price of a genuine garrett v band flange i decided to buy a $30 v band kit and turn it down to the right size and made up a dump pipe got everything together now just waiting on a waste gate. plugged off the hole and had a bit of a play with the laptop and got it idling.
  11. Started assembling things on the car. put the turbo, manifold and lines on, also put the fuel rail and injectors on. also took the intake off and spent some time changing the loom to hide it a bit more
  12. did an intank lift pump setup today as i was sick of the sound of the low pressure lift pump
  13. parts pile growing
  14. Put nolathane bushes in the trailing arms and panhard rod. Crappy job But made the back end a lot more predictable Had a powersteering leak in the pressure line so decided to cut the old line up and make a replaceable braided line with JIC fittings to make it cheaper to service in the future Also while i was picking up braided powersteering line i got excited and bought a fuel rail, regulator and ordered some turbo lines While i had stuff apart I decided to dream a little Can anyone compare this measurement with there s13, trying to see if a 6boost is going to fit
  15. took the car down to the drags last night to see what it would do while its still stock. Had a bit of a problem with a miss at high rpm but still managed to do ok. Learnt a fair bit and would like to go back soon when i have issues sorted

  20. had some radiator troubles (after a week of driving the fan decided to hit one of the rad tubes) so went twin thermos and wired them into an auxiliary on my ecu. Got bored and decided to try my spare rocker cover which i painted yellow, but wasnt happy with it so resprayed the old rocker cover and plug cover in low gloss black and went over the writing in gloss black. think i will end up paint stripping the yellow one and colour coding it white, but I'm happy with the black for now. Also thought id do a compression test while i had it apart and was around 140-150 on all cylinders. Also was getting loud noises from my 044 so i started pulling my fuel system apart and realised the lift pump wasnt working so i replaced it with the goss pump i had
  21. Finally got around to setting up a surge tank the other days, just getting around to making a cover To seal it off from the boot. Also went to change the top hose and when i pulled it off so did the plastic barb on the radiator top tank so i got myself a aluminium one of ebay, made some new mounts and put it in Also took the spacers out of my front coilovers and did a wheel alignment and realise when i lowered it i cause massive toe out so i fixed that up and now it feels alot better to drive. Also took a little more off the rear spring and got some Shorter shocks off a mate who never used them. They are for a commodore wagon so they are much harder and perfect length for my springs Also took a few photos because i was bored
  22. After a lot of messing around with wrong parts and things not going to plan i got this running again in the early hours of this morning and dropped it off to the tuner today hopefully have it back in time for powercruise. 2 sets of rings that are too big in my piston kit 2 sets of correct rings head went of for Valve and seats cut, new exhaust guides and maching stems seals going in springs going in lifters and rocker in bottom end going together head on together in

  24. Today i decided to do a bit in the engine bay. Got rid of the maf and replaced it with a pod filter adapter, 3-2.5 inch silicon reducer and a piece of straight 2.5inch pipe. Also got rid of all the egr stuff from the engine bay and started re routing my wiring and ignitor through the guard Before: After:
  25. More parts have been cleaned and painted More stuff has come in And have also orders bc 264 cams, springs, retainers and gears, tomei RAS, and new oil pump gears Dropped head studs off on thursday so the block can be torque plate honed and should get it back this week some time.
