Okay I'm just going to run an external pump I just don't know how much PSI i need to get i want to make sure i get a pump that is going to work ha. Autozone has a pump that pushes 20 PSI but I'm not sure if that is enough???

Or would it be easier to use an external pump but how would i do that?

The only thing missing is the bracket i think. ?

Okay so will the SR5 assembly work with a fuel pump because the deal set me this and it looks pretty much the same. I'm not sure if you can see it but is part # 6 S Maybe i can mod it a little to work?

Okay so i took the dash out last night only thing is i couldnt get the plastic part that holds in the cluster apart from the dash. I don't know if I'm missing something or its just old and suck on. There is this rubber mat stuff on the floor its pretty ugly and has a lot of gross stuff on it. I was going to get a heat gun and a putty knife to take it off. After everything is all cleaned up i was going to pressure wash and paint the inside black.

Okay cool I'll do that thanks. So I looked at the engine a little better today and it's a FWD engine. The manifolds are FWD but I can cut and weld the intake Mani right? Also the thermostat is set up for Fwd can I use the FWD thermostat set up or do I need to chance to RWD? Also what Ecu would I get just any Ecu for a GTS and the harness would I have to get the dash harness to pug in the Ecu or can I make the Sr5 dash harness work?

Not really a good pic its still all in the plastic from being shipped. Ill get some better pictures up soon. So the only thing I'm going to be running on a belt is the alternator and water pump. What size belt will i use? I havent looked anything up yet about the belt not really sure but shouldnt be to hard.

Picked up the engine from the shop today it has everything on it manifolds and clutch oil cooler adaptor. I need to get the fuel pump working I was thinking putting the power on a switch to make it easy. Everything is coming together super fast I'm so happy. I have never driven any ae86 Its like I have crazy Blue Balls right now haha.

So my engine will be in town tomorrow i can't wait.

Okay so i called the dealer and they faxed me over a diagram I found the gasket it will be here Friday.

I'm looking for the gasket between the bell housing and the gear box and also the gasket between the bell housing and the engine. What are them 2 parts called i ask Autozone and they didnt have anything but i think i was asking for the wrong part. Any help please

So I ordered a 4AGE 16V for 700 and a bell housing for 105 already here I also i a new cluster today. I pulled the engine last weekend I'm not planning on using the A/C or Power Steering the only thing i want to work is the heater. I still need to wire the fuel pump I'm not really sure how to do that? I'm going to replace the broken plastic with my sr5 plastic. I'm not sure on what hoses i need to keep for my heater to work? I want to take pretty much everything out that i don't need. Just a picture of my 86 :)

Okay guys so i keep changing my mind. There is a SR20 for sale engine and tranny for 1300k. I found a mount kit for 350 at http://www.wrench-pro.com/ My problem is I'm not sure on what needs to be changed for this to work or modified. I looked around and couldn't really find a step by step swap. What would i do with my gauges will i have to do custom? I'm going to be using my ae86 for drift so i think the SR20 would help alot at the track. Maybe i will decide what i want to do soon I'm ready to drive my new car :)

I would get one locally but there isnt anything for GTS around here not even in a junk yard i can't find anything at all :(

Yeah I'm thinking about buying that engine its a 16v running with warranty 100k miles. My finished plan for my Sr5 would have a 2AZ-FE In it like LittleRedSpirit. I have a Scion Tc i love it and i don't plan on selling it any time soon. My dad has a full machine shop about 4 hours from me and he already told me we could built a full car if i wanted. I just want to get an engine in the 86 for now to have some fun. The 2AZ-FE will come in time not in a rush. Because I'm getting a new running engine my block and head are now for sale if anybody is interested. Thanks for all the help and support guys.

Okay so after all of this engine talk i found a running engine for 795 shipped. I'm not sure if i should rebuild or buy that engine. I was told it has 100k on it but it is running with warranty. I'm a little suck and not sure on what i should do. Any suggestions.

Alright thanks for the info Sam Ill just reuse my head bolts if you say its okay. He just said i need a bolt kit because the old bolts can only be torqued once. So my question is what bolts should i replace and what can i reuse to save some cash.

The Mechanic that is going to rebuild my engine said I need a bolt kit. I'm not sure if i need to replace all bolts or just the Main Stud Kit Head Stud Kit Rod Bolt Kit? Little Help Please. Also is there a place to get these cheep?
