Hey guys. Its been a while....I have made the decision to stop modifying the ke30 to save for my next car. For my 18th b'day in december my parents are gonna match wats in by bank account so I'm gonna save instead of sinkin my pay into the 30. So at the end of the year she will be up for sale. i have some locals interested and willing to pay round 3 for it and thats some bullshit cause i wouldn't pay that much but hey I'm not complaining. I'm gonna have around 6g for a sprinter so that will get me a fairly nice 16 valve. And I'm not buyin a hachi cause I'm a fully sic drifter, i have plans to turn it into show/street car with all the gadgets and subs and neons etc (i actually wanna paint it metallic blue with a yellow pearl!) but it will still slide when desired! somethin different to the common drift pig hachis out there! By then ill be out of school and have the doe to support my modifying bug too. Ill drop back in when i have a sprinter!

hey guys. I'm interested on puttin some neg camber on the front of the 30'. just wonderin what would be the best way to do it. I have a mate who can get spacers or somethin but they are for a ke70, will the parts fit into the 30?? I'm not that clued up on the tech side of gettin some camber so yeah please explain the reason if u suggest somethin so i know wats goin down! sweet.

hello everyone. On the weekend my mate who i always cruise with bought a ke30 2 door! it dark metallic green and the two cars look so mad 2gether....its like they are brothers. I had an exhaust leak from the gasket and i fixed it myself so I'm quite happy. save some doe and it feel great fixing ur own car. Saw 87dav in his red hatch if anyone knows it...we see him every time he is in ballina....top bloke!!

Wow its been a while since i posted. Iv now got my P's and what can i say! best fun of my life! Motor is running so good, cleanest 4k i know of and it can easy keep up with my mates ae92 seca. Iv priced and am about to order new bushes and either whiteline or pedders sway bars to stiffen er up a bit more. i sanded my globes dish cause to and it came up good, pretty shiny, ill post pics oneday. And i got my sticker made for the back. its sparkly blue like the paint and says 'thats how we roll' anyway will try to post more but i have been to busy drivin round! cough! cough! Gravel Patch cough!

A lad that goes to the grafton hillclimb has a big ford v8 in his ke25 (i think). it runs falcon gear, big guards, stripped interior and the gearstick comes up in the back seat! I'm not sure on stats but it struggles keepin straight and manages to beat big dollar rexies and an mr2 with over 300klw.

Yes Free period!!!! I'm thinkin of havin a go at makin some fibreglass speaker pods. iv got no experience so if it fails it will still be useful lesson. my plan get a cardboard cut out of the area on the door where it's gonna sit and expand a foam a mould then a few layers of fibre glass, sand, then a few sanded bog layers. it would be great if i could spray paint it blue but would the bog be hard to get really smooth? let me know what u guys rekon cause as i said i have no experience but I'm really interested in gettin some of these fabricating skills down....

Hey yall. Can anyone tell me bout brake upgardes? i was thinkin KE55 but are they any better? iv been running out of brakes sometimes when iv been fangin it..see being on L plates doesn't mean ya can't fang it! If i could achieve maybe 20-30% better braking it would be great.

Hey peoples... Been a while..been payin the bills so the rolla has suffered. I'm SORRY!!!! I got some interior neons the other day and I'm gonna mount them under the head unit so it lights up the centre console area. will hardwire em when i can be bothered. Went dirt buggying on the weekend up at goldcoast. It was at the WRX experience joint if anyone knows of that. epic fun but it was really wet from the night before and i went into the first corner to hard and understeered into some tyres! fun. Here are some pics of the day. the dirt on my helmet shows how fun it was i rekon. Definetly goin back to fang the rexies one day too!

hey yall! Hillclimb was good. suckful i couldn't race though. Still drove the rolla down though. its running so good after fixin the few gremlins. Got kicked out of grafton pool for stopin half way down the slide. it was epic and friend stayed their for bout 10 mins. We bailed cause a dude was lookin for us to 'have a chat'. he chased us out to the car and then abused us. very sico! lookin to get a sticker made for the windscreen sayin 'this is how we roll'. good times

yo. Havent posted for a bit sorry! Had some dramas with the car this week. First the fuel pump we put on wasn't regulated so when the car was at idle it was gettin flooded! took a while to figure it out after changing carbies n crap but we got there! So i went back to a new mechanical pump driven by the cam. it fixed it good. then the car still idled a bit funny and we found out the inlet manifold had an air leak. so it got regasketed and gooped and its all good now! running better than eva. BUT! i had to spend the money i had aside to enter my first car race at grafton hillclimb this week end. so i can't o that this time which I'm pretty cut cause i never get to fang hard being on L plates n stuff. but at least the rolla is running good!

Hey ya'll! Heres a pics of the electronic fuel pump that got put in. it works good and is bling and now i have a cool looking metal cover over where the old pump was in the block. It was a bitch gettin the right bit for the carby side of the fuel line. Ended up havin to cut the stock line and keep the thread n stuff and gettin a flange a few inches out so the line could clamp on right. Story time! On wednesday morning me and a mate who owns a small car enhancement joint/detailin buisiness and helps me with alot of stuff with my car had to go to lismore (bout 45min from ballina) to get some ICE stuff. Anyway on the way back we went the back way home through the twisty roads cause it's well fun. and bout 5min into the twisties, a dude ridin some hell good ducati naked style bike fang past with a bit of noise havin a go. We looked back and right befor our eyes the dude stack it. hit a bump, got death wobbles and went over the handle bars! he was doing every bit of 100km/h. it was freakin hectic seein it hey, it still plays in my mind every few hours. we did the fastest U turn eva. we thought he had died for sure. But when we reached the bike the dude was standin. he had no skin left on his hands, probably broken ribs or somethin and concusion. he was in mass pain and half the bikes motor got ripped off and it didn't start. considering the speed he was doin he was so lucky to get up and walk away. i think the fact the road was clear and him and bike ended of on grass probably save his life. his helmet too which looked like it had been taken to with a chainsaw. he was bout half a km from his house so he just wheeled it back. he didn't want the authorities there cause he didn't have liscence and I'm pretty sure he wa high. it was some hectic shit though. we were silent on the way home just in awa of what happened. pic of new pump!

YoYo people! Fuel pump is diein in the car .Doh! it's spittin fuel out everywhere, i though it was just a gay seal so gooped it up heaps but no good, so it shat i guess. But alas! a good friend as an electronic fuel pump spare and it's goin for free so it's metal ass is gettin put in 2moz. grafton hill climb is on in like a week oh yeah! Its my first race and i get to fang it with no parents in the car and no popo! I'm bout that ready. Also a few weeks I'm goin for a holiday up goldy and it's being organised to put a set of 17" deep dish beauties on the rolla for the trip. theres gonna be some guard pumpin!!! ill be taken some pics of it for sure! Hey thanks for the good comments! Beerhead- sic thanks that sounds like a good deal for the carb. i probably would look at it more but i need to pay back my debts first and it could take a month or two so yeah it would so be gone by then! Latest mod- 4" TACHO! oh yeah! iv had it sittin round for a bit so thought i might get it in! It didn't work on the dash or steering column so had the ingenious idea of mounting it on the door! It's looks freaking sick on the door and its still easy to look at and stuff so it aiight! When I'm on P's and cruisin up the coast i can pull up at da lights, hot car next to me, open the door and let em see the mighty 4K rev! Here are some pics.

Yo. Been driving the rolla all day workin in the new 4k. it wasn't sparkin smooth so i put new spark plugs in and it's running great now! Did the big wheel spin comin out of some corners too, good fun and my dad who was in the car cause of the L plates didn't notice for some reason so I'm down with that! keep the comments comin!:(

Hey yall been a while since i posted an update, sorry! Anyway i am a very happy camper cause i know have a 4k in the car. I was gonna tweak the 3k but the 4k that was in the wreckin rolla i had was better so i went with it. yesterday i ripped out, with the help of a coulple of mate, the 2 motors and swapped stuff to make the 4k the best it could be. And the cam got sent the waggot cams to get modified and the flywheel got sent there too and they lightened it from like 8.3 to 6.9kg. And we gave the motor a good clean up inside and out and replaced gasgets, some seals etc. I'm very happy now, it's got enough grunt for a L plater to have fun. iv fanged it round all mourning and the mods makes such a difference, it revs really free and you really feel the cam kick in bout 3000rpm. and the bling air filter makes the carby suck better and louder. it only cost a few hundred too cause all the labour was done by me and my mates! And it sounds about that mean now to! Here is a pic, ill post some of the engine apart when i can get my mates camera! :( Good Times!

Hey yall. I did the boot on the weekend. was gonna rip the 4k out of the other rolla but didn't happen. there are some pics below. i kept it pretty simple just a floor and fuel tank cover and it cost bout $40 and an hour and a half to do. Didn't do the sides cause it wouldve been a bit tricky! thanks for the info beer head! the FAQ has some good stuff in it! Iv had a rethink about the motor though, I'm only plannin to keep the car for bout a year or so until i can afford a sprinter. So iv decided to ditch the 4k and just do some simple mods on the 3k. saves rippin 2 motors out and it's gonna be cheaper. The 3k has an oil leak from the rear main seal so the motor or box needs to come out anyway. so while it's all apart I'm gettin the flywheel lightened, extractors and a stage 2 cam and givin it a general clean up. this is all happenen next monday. the cars gonna be of the road for a few days.:P It's not much but i am only 16 so it will be fun enough until i get a sprinter and i think its more realistic option. And i am even luving drivin the stock 3k with the exhaust note. and the notorious jerky diff is making me develope smooth gear changes and clutch control too. so it's a great first car! ;) before and after pics of boot!

Hey. Looks like ill be ripping the 4k out of my wrecking car 2moz. it's in good nick and has air con so i can supercharge it easy! calm down! I'm so not superchargerin....yet...lol Yeah I'm plannin on lightening the flywheel, stage 2 cam, big clean up of the whole engine new hoses, spark plugs etc, extractors, maybe some head work, modify the dizzy and a carby. Any tips would be great cause I'm only a 16 and on L's so i have limited experience with modifing motors!

Cool. thanks for the comments. Next thing on list is do the boot. its just metal now so I'm gonna make some funky mdf design and carpet it n stuff. :D
