  1. If you haven't seen this one, then take a look, it's worth it just for the sound.. Like an angry little wasp :hmm: Enjoy
  2. Hi guys, Hoss from Sweden here. I'm having a bit of a concern. I'm the owner of a stock KE70-82 and I'm about to get some new wheels (stud pattern 4/114,3). The rims I been looking at have markings on the outside "5½ J*15 H2-E40" and the markings on the inside are "5" and "86". As far as I understand (and please correct me if I'm wrong) the 5½ stands for the width, 15 stands for the diameter and E40 for the offset. The H2 I don't have clue to what it means... And it's the same with the 5 and the 86. I don't really know the size of the stock rims I have now, but the tires are 145/80/r13. According to my calculations the tires I need to get should have the measurement 195/45/r15, or possibly 195/50/r15 to be of allmost the same diameter as the stock ones. And now to the question. Will they fit? Are the offset okay for the KE70? And by the way, what's the difference between offset and inset? Cheers!
  3. Correct, exept for the model name... p1800 ES :jealous:
  4. So, I guess it's my turn now.... Guess this:
  5. It's a Saab Sonett II...Says the Swedish guy :jealous:
  6. Played around a little with Photoshop yesterday to give me an idea what I want with my rolla. How it looks now: And the result: I think it came out nice, a little to low for driving maybe, but It's just a concept.
  7. Well, it ain't right but it's right... :D
  8. Thanks!! Yeah, I try to learn as I go along and so far so good :monkey: And in the worst case I can always call my brother who is the car genius in the family.
  9. So, the exhausttip is in it's place. I think improved the look alot compared to the original "straw". And a closeup I also did a oil transfusion and changed the fanbelt. It actually went a lot smother than I tought, beeing a totally newbe to car mechanics.
  10. Went to my local dealer of car stuff today and came home with this: My plans are to change the whole exhaust system, but this will do until I get the parts I need...
  11. Thanks guys! It has only driven 80000 km. I bought it from an uncle who bought it new in 1982, and done all the services and really kept it tip top. The plans for the body are not that big, just the "classics", new rims, lowering springs, new exhaust, remove the stripes etc. Just want it to look clean and nothing "over the top" And most important, to keep it in good shape. And I would like to do some stuff with the enigine, but my knowledges in that area aint that good. But I'll guess I'll have to learn :( An 4A-GE might be in the long term plans, but not for now, just wanna get the old 4K-C moving some. I've read the FAQ about the K-engine and scouting the net for info, so I have some ideas about what should be done. The problem here in Sweden is the "funny" parts, like cams, carburators etc. is hard to find. But the search will go on... If you have some ideas, that ain't to complicated, feel free to let me know :D Have a good day // Hoss
  12. Finally I got around to take some pics. I'm a swedish KE70 owner who bought the car about a month ago. It's so far pretty much stock, but some changes are slowley begining at happen (it's a bit hard to get cool parts here.. :( ). The back side. A new exhaust is on it's way. The front side. Looks a lot better without the toyota logo The profile. Two doors is plenty. The inside. The inside again, with my newly installed tacho. That's all folks (for this time). // Hoss
