ke17 20v

does anyone know what the weight of a 4 door ke10 weigh?? just want to know if its 800kg or more so i can put a 12a in it legaly?

any help would be great... i have a 4age 20v with a sprinter rear wheel gearbox but no plate from the rear of the engine that bolts the gearbox and starter motor up... i was wondering if the front wheel drive plate and the rear wheel plate are the same? because i can find an original front wheel plate easily but nearly imopossible to find the sprinter rear wheel plate... any advice would be much appreciated thank you....

yeah thanks for the info guys... i was thinkig about a hilux diff cos i wana keep it all toyota but i herd they are a bit on the heavy side, i agree do it right the first time but now i gotta save up the cash :y:

hi guys iv got a ke17 sprinter with a 20valve conversion and i desperately need a diff upgrade just wondering if anyone has done this and witch diff is strong and easy for the conversion??? also id like to keep the same stud pattern if possible..... any help would be great thanks...

Thanks heaps for all the great feed back!! it still has the original diff in in it at the moment i think the only reason it has stood up to the power so far is that i had a small clutch in front of it, now that i have a new heavy duty clutch and the ae86 sprinter box i don't think she will last much longer...... plus i have so many spares for the ke10-17 series rollas if anyone might need anything just let me know il have a look aand might part with some stuff, my parents have been busting my balls bout all the crap i have around the place...

hey yeah i had the fire wall moved back about 3to 4 inches, was a bit of a pain in the arse but thats the joy of having a 120kw 20v in there which made it all worth it in the end... thaks heaps for the info on the brakes il do my homework on them now that i know its not to hard to change them over...

cheers for the info mate! quick question do the ke30, 55/70 brakes just bolt straight up or is there some mods first?

Thanks guys, i tried to keep it a sleeper as much as i can i don't like all this bling bling on old cars i think it just ruins them.... the brakes r ke20 disk front and standard rear, thats the next thing on my must do list thats for sure!! does anyone have any idea what brakes i can put on whch might be an easier conversion?
