  2. So, here is the long awaited update, what do you all think?
  3. Hi, I just lowered my KE25, 2" blocks in the rear and weld on coilover sleeves at the front. Problem is I now can't get as low as I would want because the front struts hit the bumpstop on desired heighth. Got approx 1/4" of suspension travel left :( Searched the forums a bit and found that some MR2 shocks and shortening the strut housing should work. Questions are: 1. Do I have do get some regular MR2 rear shocks or do I have to find "short stroke" MR2 shocks? 2. Can anybody confirm that MR2 will fit? 3. Got some Techno Toy Tuning camber plates on my KE25 struts. Will these still fit the MR2 shocks or do I have to change the top mounts as well?
  4. Hi all, just wanted to do a little introduction. My name is Bob, 1978 from Luxembourg. Just registered because I'm gonna most probably buy an KE25 next week. It's green, in pretty good condition and has had a PCD conversion already. 4K engine. So here it is: And here is my other Toyota toy, my AE86. pretty much grip oriented trackday tool:
  5. Here is a graph of my last 3 engines. 4AGE 16V Largeport with 270° cams, AE111 ITB, Haltech 4AGE 20V Blcktop with 276°cams, Haltech ECU,... and 7AGE 16V largeport Wiseco pistons, Belfab rods, 270° cams, ITB, Haltech
  6. As for your 4x114 front hubs. KE35 ones are a direct replacement and offer the desired PCD. At the rear you can get your axles redrilled, no problem. Lowering blocks work OK at the back. For the front, when you choose to cut the coils, make sure you cut both sides at the same time or to unhook your ani roll bar. If not you might cut too much on one side and you won't notice it until you cut the other side too. You may aswell get slip on coilovers (ebay is full of them) and weld yourself an adjustable front suspension
  7. Hi, I'm in the process of getting some wheels for a KE25. Right now it has 15", but I want smaller rims. Will 7x13 offset +2 (front) and 7.5x13 offset -4 (rear) work on a KE25. I don't want fender flares. Car is lowered on front coilovers and rear 2" blocks. Tire wise I've planned to run 175 or 185
