thanks altezzaclub. checked the vacuum lines n surely most of them have been totally messed up with,n i suspect the carb is just pouring in fuel, best option is doing a whole engine swap. carbonboy..i will check the lines once am onto the engine swap. guys am also wondering if the 4agte will seamlessly attach to my t40 gearbox without any modifications, i don't mind the engine mounts modification coz the engine bay is quite big,

My 3a-u carb is acting up..car does about 4km a ltr and i can smell the raw gasoline on the exhaust,reserviced it but its no better,can i swap to another carb type that will not need a plate modification,The 3a-u one is very rare and quite expensive to order, Any hekp guys..thanks oooh can one convert to an EFI and how would i go about doing it ?

I want to Swap my 3A-U engine in my corona t140 series,n i jus want to change the engine to electronic fuel injection, Will the 4Age engine seamlesly fit with the t40 gearbox without any modifications, Or which engine would fit,

got a question to ask...if will the engine mounts align wen i do change the engine...!!of do i get to do adjastments

ke70dave...came with the engine..think it was an importation from singapore.. country is Kenya in East Africa.. Also checked the gearbox. its a t40 n was wonderin which EFI engine can match up with the gearbox. Mark1414..they did. i wana do a rebuild of the car..the body is in overrated condition including the aircon..just issues with the carb engine.

I would like to change my 3A engine Carb with an EFI one...which engine will fit on the mounts and the gearbox(4speed),need help guys
