Does anyone know what the model number is for the dash bulbes in a KE70. I'm looking at replacing the current standard bulbes with LED's but don't wanna pull the dash off twice to find out what they are then to replace them. Thanks

Hey all, The old KE70 is using the standard points system and i wanna convert it into the Electronic Distributors. Apparently the AE82 distributors can go in but i would like to know of any other electronic distributors that would also work. (one's that are easier to find) Any info would be good. cheers

I had a similer problem the car would idle but it wouldn't accelerate. The problem was with the carbi. It got a bit of shit in there and started causing some problems. i used carbi cleaner that helped but the air comppresor got everything out of it including some fuel (watch out). But no problem since.

The timing has been adjusted and the car starts 1st time without pumping just a bit of choke. Was out by a bit now it run's better than ever. Thanks for all the help. :lolcry:

Yeah it has a choke for it to start it has to be out the whole way, but i'm gonna get a timing light and check the timing. I clean the carbi that made a difference to idle and smoother driving but not when starting. Thanks fellas for the advise.

Hi all, Having trouble with the KE70 i'v had it for about 1 year. The other day i went to leave work about 3.00pm and all the car did was turn over it didnt want to start. I finally got it started. But everyime i want to start the car when its cold all it does is turn over but if it starts and i drive around and come back in an hour it will start no worries but if i leave it for a few hours it wont start. I have changed the fuel pump with a new 1 but this makes no difference, and the battery is good, i have check for spark and no problems there. I dnt know what to do. Anyone with any idea's.
