  2. just wanted to reiterate that these are grants first ever attempt at door cards...I worked with him a bit with dimensions but he put these together. they fit perfectly and by that I mean....when you are aligning the clips and plastic holes...it is perfect....who does that? with his seat skins and these door cards.....my interior is the poop.....thanks grant!
  3. i just ordered a rear rubber from Cabe Toyota in Long Beach, Ca. they have known good repro's. I did not know they had the rubber....I would have gone there first. hope to have by this weekend and try again.
  4. thank you both for the kind words and support. I call grant the Angel of Corolla skins. recently got front and side glass in as well as chrome trims.....failed on rear glass. installer says the rubber is wrong. I have two sets and both are the same size. does anyone on that side of the globe have any knowledge of this issue.....anyone have rubber that will work for this TE27/KE25.
  5. hey there......i have an entire TE27 SR5 chasis....with all the fenders and doors. there is rust damage but it is all repairable. if you have any interest in what I have, let me know, I will get you some more info. thanks scott

As she was near the begining of the project. and a bit later Seat skins by Grant Donaldson...New Zealand......He put this all together in my driveway. more of grants work......his first ever fabrication of door cards...they look great. 2TG...2L, 304 cams, high end port/polish, 3 angle valve job.....should be pushing 200HP plus She is finally painted the original Turquois Metalic blue which was rare for corollas...common for celicas......should be completely together for long beach show in Sept...will be for sale...anyone interested, contact me....LIFTINCLEAN @AOL.COM

  8. thanks for the dmv info.......had not heard of the statement of facts form. I was thinking of getting the previous owner to fill out a non-op form which would state the dates the car was taken off the road. hopefully between both of these options there will be no headaches.
  9. I am in Tehachapi.....you had replied to my post on JNC. My goal is to get this car on the road for its 40th birthday in june....we'll see. number on this car is 124***. she has not been registered since 1985, hopefully not going to be a huge ordeal when I go to DMV....I do not want a salvage title, it was never in a junkyard, just used as a ranch car until it was parked in the late 90's.
  10. Hey all.....here in cali just getting back into a '74 SR5 resto. car has been in my garage for 4 years and now I am way back into the project......just testing to see if I can get photo loaded. Working with grant in NZ to fabricate new skins for my wasted seats.
