  10. hey everyone, i've put a weber on my ke70 and have various problems so far but now have managed to get it idling (if you would call it that) it has massive jets in it 160 for primary and secondary, not sure what they should have for a 4k does anyone else? i havent played with the idle adjustment screw yet as it got dark soon after it was idling. anyway would just like a hand to understand why it is idling like this, if its just running to rich? or some other problem http://www.soundupload.com/audio/95a7c053gigr833b that is the sound file cheers everyone Chester

  17. hey, just wondering what is the difference between the 4k and 5k oil filter block thing ( the thing thats attatched to the block and then to the oil filter) i forgot the technical name, just want to know if i can use the 5k one on the 4k, or do they run different oil pressures etc. it all bolts on, but they look different i know alot of the 5k/4k bits are interchangable i just wasnt sure wether they had a different oil pressure due to more capacity cheers all chester
  18. ok it was on a ke70 rear drums, the retaining pin was on the shoes, but the shoe still had a bit of play with it, like it was meant to have another clip or something but i looked in the manual and all the parts were there....
  19. ok need some help with my rear drums... first of all my wheel cylinder did a big exploduss, so drove home replaced wheel cylinder and 2 new brake shoes, put everything back on exactly the same way it came off, bled the system and went to test the brakes, and when i put my foot on the brake instead of the shoe being pushed out the way it should be (towards the drum) it was pushed out towards me (away from the car) this also damaged the brand new wheel cylinder and caused it to leak everything is how it should be and I'm not missing any pieces what could cause this? cheers in advance Chester
  20. me also need diff locked :P
  21. yeah its been done plenty of times before, you will need to get custom mounts made up or weld a crossmember from an RX4 in, and will need custom gearbox mounts/ tailshaft etc. I don't know how wide the tunnel is in the ke30's or if it is big enough to fit the 13B gearbox! let me know if you want more info cheers
  22. if its not sliding you arent driving it hard enough my 4k would do awesome drifts in the dry open diff and they will also do awesome burnouts with a linelocker ;) tyre popping goodness
