  1. Ok i have a ke 35 with an 18rg in it so engine bay and crossmember set up is similar, as stated you need a rear sump so hilux 18r sump and pickup fixes that, a w50 box fits with some fabrication to the existing crossmember, you need a new exhaust a shortened tailshaft and a better diff because you will break the original one. Only real problem in mine is clearance between carbies and master cylinders, not an issue for you as your master cylinder is on the opposite side. can't see why it wouldn't fit yours but wont be a simple conversion but shouldnt be to difficult either
  2. Ke 38 panel van only from 1975 had these in them, and they weren't restricted to qld I have bought them from nsw, vic and sa. Problem now is very few left in original cars. Regards Greg
  3. As i said before have recently bought a ke55 off another forum with an 18rg fitted, can provide photos to show how it was done if you like, but is definetly harder to do than a 2tg swap. This one uses custom mounts with cortina rubber engine mounts and a shortened tailshaft. Is definetly much more nose heavy than a 2tg ( have done numerous versions of these). Am currrently trying to work out how to fix the suspension to cope but will work it out eventually. Regards Greg
  4. Actually they do fit I Bought one the other day and is a very neat conversion, which looks like it is supposed to be in there. :y:
