  1. sr20 engine, obviously everything needed with that bigger brakes, suspension etc interior, audio, may get the seats re done although they are pretty damn good. everything else, roof lining carpet is all perfect. yeh apart from the paint its all original, dash has no cracking etc what is the collectors market like for these? Edit - the corolla will become a historic car in 3 years when it becomes 40 yrs old. Also the colour is standard, just checked colour codes for that year and they did come out with an orange. found a brochure too.
  2. Hey guys, So a few weeks ago I bought a '77 KE30 Rolla and now I am faced with the moral dilemma of do I keep it original and a collectors item or do I turn it into a cool little sleeper? what do you guys think? had to link to my FB cause my internet is too slow where i am at the moment but it should bring it up, if not go to my cover photos https://www.facebook...&type=3 Ps. I do have original wheels for it just getting some rubber atm
  3. you mate are a bloody legend! haha that will give me a lot of buying power against this guy, he is very pompous and thinks he knows it all! haha thanks!
  4. it is regoed and running but still isnt any where near what he is asking for it, will upload photos tomorrow morning.
  5. hey everyone, just a quick query. looking at buying a ke35 the guy is asking $5,500 for the car yet it has no roof lining or carpet. rust has been welded and it has been re painted (in my opinion a crappy colour) in hemi orange with a black hood. Old Torana style. From what I understand, the guy doesnt have most of the front grill assembly either and the car is running a 4k engine with high cam. To me this car is worth a max of $3,500, and thats pushing it. I saw a ke35 go on one of there forums earlier this year for $5,500 and it was a complete rebuild with a 4age in it I think and everything was immaculate. But as I havent really had any experience with old school corollas as yet, was more of a WB ute kind of person, I though I would ask. unfortunately i can't upload pictures from my phone but I will as soon as I get to my computer.
