finally got started on my ke20 i have brought all the paint and fiberglass bog and all that i got 20lts of thinners 4lts of primer filler and 4lts of a off cream sorta colour $180 for the paint stuff and $30 for the fiberglass bog shit so that was allright and the paint is protec brand stuff and i am doing it in acrylic. i started fixing the rust by wirer wheeling all the rust away and putting rust converter shit in and with a wire brush brush it a bit and yea around the window i had to make a metal plate for the window seal to sit in and i use a fiber glass bog mix to fill the holes and then use bog to get it nice and smooth and yea my dad shows me how to do it all as he once used to own his own company called mobile resprays doing this stuff heres some pics

today i got my motor seal by the weekend i should be able to start my new motor up

update: got my alloy panels now made up and put on. the engine sealer didnt come because i had to work and had a interview that i had to go to. and ive sprayed the inside and changing the colour of rollcage because it looks shit still need side frount qourters

yeah thats why i was asking i just didnt know if they have the same sizes

today i rang up the engine sealer and book into getting it sealed and he is coming wednesday to seal it so then i can run it in and now i need to get the panels hopefull i get them during the week

cheers for all the comments and yeah I'm looking forward to building it i need some good weather so i can fix the rust in it and paint it and tomorrow I'm going to find out about the rollcage and see if i can just get a speacial licance and yeah it does make the car safer. and i can really aford a 5k at the moment i will get one soon.

hey yesterday i went down and cheaked out a ke20 that was for sale and we liked it so we brang it back home then me and my brother started working on it. plans so far: repair all the rust in it paint rollcage if i can have it in paint body 3k new body seals and put it all together i can't spend to much as i don't have that much money on me at the moment so yea heres the pics

update today i went down and pick up the 3k motor witched had a 3k bigport head and manifold on it brang it back home and pulled the manifold and head off and the head was like overrated heres some pics and some pics of progress
