Heres the 2 main pics I've decided to make it legal (fix the tailight lenses etc) and be done with it. As long as it gets me from A to B at this stage, I couldn't care less. I'm going to focus on my mountain bike racing more, and stop spending money on my car. And u all know what that means... I'll be a passenger on the cruises. Someone call me a few days before the next cruise, cos I'll forget otherwise. Peace, out.

i was in a hurry to go get my pizza, that i had ordered. that will teach me. i might sell my stereo to afford a new car

bummer, i reversed out my mates driveway, and left onto the road, and hit a bullbar sticking out off a 4wd that was parked on the footpath at about 30km/h. was pitch black, and i was obviously not looking properly. the rear left panel is warped, the boot wont close, the tailight is in the boot, and the bumper is still straight. the tailight area looks like an eye socket. might just get another Ke70, and use this one for parts.

i've been offered a 4k and t-40 for $100 or so, the 4k with a cracked headgasket, and some smoke. they guy is going to help me put em both in. how hard is it to do an auto - manual conversion? and what can we do to the 4k for a bit more power? besides webbers?

i'm in adelaide... mechanic is taking care of it all 2morra, and getting oil filter replaced, engine oil drained and replaced, carburetta cleaned out, trans adjustments and other things, so it should all be sweet for next cruise here.

i now know why. fuel pump has a small leak....into the oil.... yay... :moon: no car for the weekend meanwhile my mum's rolla had a workover, timing change, and now makes double the power. bloody karma. *bitches and whinges some more before looking into building a 15 second AE71 wagon.

why does my car smell of petrol? it smells inside and out ke70 air con (not on tho) auto wheres it coming from? good places to check?

welded in, not cast and i drove it for about a day. sounded like a fkn battletank too! was cool for a while, till i started engine braking....

thats exactly what it looks like just coming out of the car. mechanic just gave it to me then, came home, and took a pic :D he said its put a slight bend in the back of the crankshaft too, because it took a chunk of everything with it when it disintegrated.

heres a few pics of my flexplate that was replaced today.... well.. whats left of it.... and again up close..... mechanic said he's never even seen his race car do that to a flex plate.

yay, my car is now sounding like a battle tank, because the flexplate is weakened and apparently sheared a bolt off or something. is this gonna cost me $$$ ??
