oh ok, well what I'm really trying to find out is whether what this guy said is true? which was... there is a 2L corona motor that will bolt straight into a ke55

so do all these engines bolt straight in? no mods needed?

hey guys, one of my mates has a ke55 and someone was telling us that there is a 2litre corona motor that will bolt straight in to his ke55.... is this true or false? if true.... what year corona is it out of? and I'm guessing u use the corona 5speed aswell...so will its crossmember bolt straight up to? and can u keep the ke55 tailshaft? my mate is very keen to do this conversion, so if any one has done this before or knows how its done...please let me know EVERYTHING that has to be done and what is needed! thanks guys! -Nic

ok guys, I'm goin with the blow thru option, so I'm gonna need a carbie that can handle boost, but i wont be running too much boost. so if any of u guys have any suggestions of what to get, or are sellin or know someone whos sellin one... please let me know! cheers guys

yeah true, i guess ur betta off gettin them custom made by someone, or makin them urself like i did

yeah that turbo is not internally gated, but only the manifolds and y piece are for sale, not the turbo, so if u get it..just buy a t3 with an internal gate "you can't run a cooler or BOV. If the bov goes off it would spray air AND FUEL all through the engine bay, and if you have a backfire through the inlet manifold with and intercooler full of perfectly mixed fuel and air...... well I think you get the idea!!" yeah i know exactly what u mean lol :S is there a turbo u suggest to use for drawthrew? cheers

hey guys, in a day or two I'm gettin another corolla sedan, not sure of the model but its a 78-79 i think, it has the same tail lights as my mates 81 ke55 but it has round headlights, anyway, i have made a turbo kit for my vn v6 and that was easy enough, but i wanna do it to my corolla, exaust manifold will be easy enough to make and all the plumbing, only thing i dunno how to do is get the air from the turbo to the inlet manifold...my vn was easy caus all i had to do was make a pipe to go from the turbo to the throttle body, but i don't know to turbo a carbie motor??? any help and pics would be muchly appreciated cheers guys

hey guys, me and my mate have(for a fair while) been wanting to put a vn v6 motor in his rolla sedan(i think its ke55) we are just wondering bout engine mounts and and gearbox xmembers and things... does any one make/sell them? also, i was thinkin... the tunnel thing down the middle of the car that th gearbox sits under..... does that need to be cutout/made bigger so that the vn gear gox will fit?? we need all the information we can get, so if u know anything or have done it b4.. please let me know! cheers guys

hi guys, I'm Nic I'm from Benalla, (its near shepparton if u havent heard of it) just signed up then, i love rolla's, i had a 1981 corolla sedan, but i sold it to a mate a while ago, but I'm goin to have look at one tomorrow to buy(i think its a 79 or 80) i would like to get some 17's for it and lower it a bit, or sum 15's and dump it soon! also i would love to get a rollaclub sticker for the back window to support the site, so any info on that would be great cheers guys
