  1. Hey mate. Comin along very nicely! If you're no longer using your caltracs, I'm keen to buy off you. I got your old diff, so would love the rest of the puzzle. Cheer, Waz
  2. Quick update. Not as much progress as hoped but progress is progress... Gearbox off and on stand (after removing and wrapping other GZE rebuild block) and some of the extra 'rubbish' removed ;) anyone got any suggestions for intake mani? I got one to cut and shut but seriously considering MRP job
  3. Yea will need new fuel lines when I get there ... :)
  4. So I decided I wasn't busy enough and needed to pull my ceiling down and replace my kitchen... now of all times ... Anyhow I did score myself an R31 LSD thanks to 'oh what a Nissan feeling!' the other day. Plus today, leave started and we sent the kids to daycare so I managed to lift the GZE and the 3K. Hoping for some more Christmas progress.
  5. And lol @ my I'm new here. Damn lurker. Member since 2007. Feels good to be getting amongst it
  6. Cheers all. Still slowly removing things for lift. I already got me Jordans kit and pedal box ;) Thanks for confirming cuzzo. I was pretty confident I had read it somewhere over the years, and the tunnel looks a good size
  7. Hoping false. I am using a w58 too. I was gunna put it in my ke10 but didn't wanna chop the tunnel so went with the 30. Plus I like the look of the 30 better anywho.
  8. Hey All, Decided to create a build page to hopefully keep myself inspired. So story is 4agte into KE30. This is not my first build however as I am pulling out my 4A from my ae92 build to go rwd. Engine has been completely rebuilt a few years back and I have done maybe 1,000km on it and had trouble with the charger so stopped driving it. So loom pulled, just need to do fluids and driveshaft’s and I’m ready to lift. At this stage the 30 is pretty rough needs paint etc, but wanna mount up engine and drive for a bit, break a few stock diffs then do it all properly. Here’s where I’m at.
  9. yea it appears it only has one set of mounts. i have mounted the box but i am having other problems now. is there different lengths of clutch cables? i have a ke55 coupe one and its too long for my car. on max extension it grabs way down low. anyone know whether it can be shorthened and what sort of place does this? waz
  10. hmm. well its stamped a ke30 but it does appear that it will be a little more difficult for the changeover. i have a good design for making a custom mount so it should be right now. i try post a pic of what i do. thanks all waz
  11. does it make a difference? pretty sure it a ke30.
  12. hmmm. i think my car is odd. the only spot i can see to bolt the crossmember to the body is three holes. 2 where the auto crossmember bolted on and 1 further forward that doesnt even have thread inside. even when i placed the member in the forward most position it seemed no chance to line up. i will try again with the 55 member but i can't imagine it would b any diferent. is it possible that my car hasnt been fitted with the body mounting position for the manual? perhaps some pics r in order. thanks for ur insight also i had to cut the hole in the floor further forward. is that normal?
  13. hi for anyone who knows about this conversion, I'm havin trouble figuring out the setup for the crossmember and gearbox mount. just need to know which crossmember and mount to use as the mounting position on the gearbox is a long way off bein in line with the crossmember, way to far for redrilling. I tryed a ke55 coupe mount today but was not much use. i also found another ke30 at the wreckers that had this conversion done but they just bodged up the auto crossmember with the mount sideway and a few extensions. Is there a tidier way? I'm comfused, what am i doing wrong? waz
