If when you start the car and it idles rough then stalls, check the fuel cut off solenoid on the carby, mine was loose the other day and I almost pulled my hair out trying to work out what it was

I had this very problem with my 5k in the ke70.... made a homemade catchcan from some hose, dacron and a drink bottle, car runs heaps better now since it's not trying to burn oil no more...

I've got an 82 ke70 with a 5k conversion done on it, auto slop box though..... I very much doubt it would skid, as it doesn't have any guts whatsoever... in the wet though it has stepped out, wouldn't like to push it though :locked: Maybe I have something wrong with mine?, it's a project car anyway, everything else is still standard on it :D
