  1. Selling my work car due to losing my licence for 9 months. 1992 1.0 lite 3 Cylinder Suzuki Swift 5 spd manual Body is a bit average. Paint fade on roof and both rear quarters had some ugly dents in them from when I bought the car, but have since popped them out to best of my ability. Mechanically it's A1. Serviced every 5 - 10,000kms. Doesn't leak or lose any fluids. The only thing I've had to replace since owning it is the battery. Hasn't skipped a beat. 199,xxx kms Fuel consumption is about 5 liters of fuel to the 100. Always run on 98 octane. A tank has cost me no more than 45$ to fill up. Rego'd till next month. Whiteline front and rear strut braces painted in custom anti defect paint Lowered on lovell springs all round. Nice legal & practical height. New shocks all round, can't remember brand (yellow ones) Full Gti interior upgrade. Dash (with same km's), steering wheel, front & rear seats inc great condition factory Recaros (comfiest seats!) Sticker bombed rear window (extra 50 killawasps) It's a little noisy on idle and under load due to the air filter. But is fine once up to speed. Boot has to be unlocked from inside. Key doesn't work. Has never bothered me, just haven't had the time to fix it. Great honest and reliable car. If an average body doesn't bother you this is a great economical run about that draws zero attention. I also have extractors, a front sway bar and factory fogs lights to include with sale if they buyer desires. Price: $1150 neg Car is located in Prospect 10 minutes from the Adelaide CBD. Best contacted on 0402 757 946 Thanks for looking. Jarryd
  2. Anyone know where to get Tokico shocks from in Adelaide, or order from online?

  3. Old topic/ debate is old. YEAH, they don't seem that much different on paper. BUT have you actually driven a 4age? That's the decision maker in itself. Build a 4afe, be different. Good on ya, but it's going to be more difficult and probably more costly. The 4age is a performance orientated motor, hence the heads are made by Yamaha. The 4afe is more catered to your Nana's needs. It's a economy motor. Regardless of what can be achieved with the 4afe is still has the shit slave cam design. Good luck finding adjustable cam gears, and if you want cams you're going to paying through the nose for them. To achieve the best results you have to fine tune an engine. You won't achieve that with 4afe cheese..
  4. WTB: AE95 SR5 bits.

  5. :o that's a shit load of effort you've put in mate. I picked up a TC 82 for $300 a while back and had to stitch a new rad support on it. That was only a half day job. You'll be stoked when this thing finally gets back on the road :) Sent your forged rods off today so hopefully you see them by mid week :) enjoy!

  8. hey all just picked up a ke70 for $200 had a stuffed motor so i put my good motor into it had a stuffed choke cabel but can't figure out how to remove it to replace it with my good one any help appreciated thanks :D
  9. love the colour! :y: should fly with a 20v much better then 4k turbo junk :) pending pics of 20v installation
  10. why does everyone on the forum want to turbo 4ks!!!??? they ARE a GOOD engine, for economy and reliability but i u want a turbo use a 4age, 4agze, ca18det, or sr20det or something similar something with EFI that doesnt require constant tuning at the end of the day its still a 1.3 and will require constand maintainence if u like ur 1.3's that much get a 13b! one of many failed 4kt attempts http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/board/in...=30223&st=0 don't get me wrong hes a good mechanic... its just something about a 30 yr old 1.3 carbie engine with forced induction that doesnt do it for me
  11. oh sweet cheers i would have assumed so because they're the same chassis thanks for the input :D
  12. hi there, was just wondering if say i had a ae92 sedan and a ae92 seca, would i be able to change fronts? ie grill, head lights, parkers, quarter panels, bonnets, bumper and bracketry etc etc ( as in a whole front end change) example: sil-80 and onevia, and 13.5 etc etc if any one has done this and had success, would like to hear about it better yet some pics. its just been a thought plauging the back of my mind for a few weeks now, and have thought about doing it for something different. many thanks -Jarryd
