  1. I'm sorry, now that you explained what happened a little better i can understand where you are coming from and i agree, he can't drive. I appologise.
  2. I noticed that there is a section in the knowledge base about putting a nikki carby on a K series. I put one on my 4K about a year ago, put a full kit through it including needle and seat, it went fine but there was a problem, the bowl kept overflowing on idol and flooding the engine and it would stall. Now i spent ages racking my brain trying to figure out the problem, I thought it was the float level (but you know what thought did!,) I lost count of how many times i pulled the thing appart to adjust it, I was nearly ready to through it over my shoulder and try something diferent, (I remember saying to myself, "f'n Holden s#@t.) Then it hit me... too much fuel pressure, the Nikki doesn't like the full pressure that the 4K fuel pump gives it (I'm gessing the gemini fuel pumps didn't have as much pressure.) So I got me a Holley fuel pressure regulator ($85approx) and there you have it problem solved. Hope this is usefull, has anyone had this problem? Might be worth adding to the knowledge base, i dunno.
  3. :P Look sorry alright i just don't think you should be calling him a bad driver when he has shown that he has a bit of skill he just should be using that skill in the right place. And yes i'll agree it is people like that that reck it for us all. Its just the age old Ford Holden debate I had to get in on it. Ok i shall start contributing.
  4. And if you knew what i could do behind the wheel you would probably shut your yap too. Just because I'm not a "Drifter" doesn't mean i can't drift, some people just don't have the $$$$ to do it as a sport. And on that note, i can't believe you would call this bloke a "bad driver" for showing off his ability, this doesn't make him a "bad driver," what it does make him though, is a showoff and an idiot for putting other peoples lives at risk, and as i said i do not condone this. And on another note, did you make this "assumption"... (which clearly you have done, you don't know this bloke, same as you don't know me!, what right do you have to call him a bad driver??????)... because he is a ford driver and you envy him because you suport s-box holdens and you wish you had the knowledge to realise that FORDS are clearly the better make out of the two (sorry to "flame you" but its true)?... Or are you just jelious of him because you aren't able to handle a car like he can? Now this bloke is not a bad driver but clearly an idiot driver. And as i said before.... OVER IT
  5. Woooooo up there sodier, i never said i condone doing it on the streets, i just said you can't call this bloke a bad driver because he clearly did something that a bad driver would not be able to do...... Shall i repeat myself, he shouldn't have done it around all the pedestrains and parked cars.
  6. Look I'm not trying to prove anything. I just don't appreciate people bagging out drifters and not recognising their ability. Some of my good friends are drifters. Over it.
  7. That does sound like a bit of overkill doesnt it. Cheers mate
  8. Sorry mate got a bit angry
  9. Yes i agree with everythin you said esspecially "respect"... everyone should be respected if they can do something well... no matter what it is. Everything takes skill and practice and everyone has different interest hence you getting bord by it but atleast you respect them for their abilities... unlike someone who just calls them noobs (whatever that is) like a few posts ago... yes that ford driver should be called a "noob" for doing what he did around pedestrians but not a bad driver... Sounds to me like he's potentially a good driver and needs to get his FORD out on the track not a busy street.
  10. Ah someone with some experience, now as a rally driver you would of done your fare share of sliding around, would you agree that once in a slide there is a certain degree of dificulty holding the car on the track, and it takes practice and skill to do so.
  11. i disagree, finding the apex and keeping the traction down is basic. now get in a slide and hold that slide for the whole track, thats a challange. Anyone can get a car sideways around a corner but how many can hold on to it and not spin around or hit a gutter like our friend in the commadore.
  12. Mate your just a kid, prob still can't even drive in a straight line, n your guna sit there and bag out people who spend years practicing to improve their skills. JELIOUSY IS A CURSE PRINCESS.
  13. but anyway enough name calling it immature and unnecassary
  14. So your guna call drifters (blokes that do one of the hardest motorsports out there) "noobs"? Well first of all whats a noob???????????? Secondly, if you weren't an alchoholic (beerhead), you might be able to get out there and attempt getting your car into, and holding onto, a full blown one handed fishtale, and then you would find out its not as easy as it looks. And thirdly """'if you've taken the time you might have read""" that i agree that he shouldn't of done it around all the pedestrains and parked cars.
  15. Thats crazy!!!!! He's got too much time on his hands. The cops would love that.. :P
  16. Don't worry just spoke to the seller and they been making them since the forties and they ARE the original product. Thanks anyway..
  17. Yeah thats what i was thinking, i have a 55 and i did have a go at fitting them but the bearing size was slightly different. how do i get around that?
  18. Ok. Would they be big enough to pul it up when i put the 4age in it?
  19. Does anyone have any suggestions on upgrading the suspension and brakes on my KE10?
  20. There are some blinds on ebay under KE10, These are obviously not made by toyota (the bloke makes them for heaps of diferent models), but can anyone tell me if they look the same and would be worth buying as i have never seen the original product. If anyone has a pic of an original one they could post so i could have a look it would be much appreciated. Thanks
  21. Um sorry but i can't read this without comenting, ask yourself did he drive away with his car in one piece, and without damaging anyone elses car, after doing a one handed fishtale. Or did his car end up in the shop writen off like old mate in the crapadore, after crashing at "15kph". In my opinion the ford driver in this instence sounds like the more skilled driver. :( ....... I wil agree though, he shouldn't of done it around all the pedestrians and cars but it shows who was able to hold onto their car and come out without a scratch.
  22. here's a few pics (See not much to look at.) Thats all i've got at the moment haven't got any burnout ones yet but i wil for sure.
