good point, the cars for me, I'm not going to set out to destroy it like some of the people on here. at this stage ill leave the motor as is and just get the clutch done in the next few weeks. but on an upside, i just bought my new wheels, so they should arrive in the next few days. i went for some thing different as every man and his dog has meshies, wanats and superlights now days so i chose some SSR colins 14x7s heres a pic, but don't judge, i plan to give them a good polish and a repaint

so guys tell me, whats your opinion ?? do i keep every thing standard and clean as these in this condition are getting hard to find ?? or do i go and do the 4age conversion like a had planned ?? getting mixed signals here :bash: haha

yeh ive had another 8 rollas over the time and i was planning on buying another to mod but with the condition its in i don't think i can i think i might just totally rebuild the motor and go all original .. maybe just some wheels i really have mixed decisions right now !!

yeh thinking off putting the original stripe back on, was gonna do the motor but decided now all original as they are getting so hard to get hold of. especially being a ae71. just has a sus of yours ben, very impressive. looks like to be in the same condition as this one. I'm impressed.

yeh was one owner mate the old guy looked after it and kept it like this since new. after speaking to the old owner mate it was never resprayed as a whole but fixed any dent or speck that arrived over the years

hey guys picked up my new rolla today after recently moving to NSW from SA. gone down a different track this time and got me a ae71. it has not a speck of rust on the whole car, not any where, paint is perfect too, shiny and white !!! interior perfect too, I'm the 2nd owner of the beast. has full service history and books, and done just over 200000km. csx model obviously with working aircon. only down side is clutch is pretty gone but with the motor coming out its not really a worry. so any way keep an eye out for this one .... got some big plans cheers matt
