  1. Hi, guys. I need some help, why would my 32/36 weber on my 1977 corolla 3k, make cracking noise and spark with large flames . I just installed carbie, the car start's for abit then dies, every time I rev the engine it makes a cracking noise, then it flames up in the driver side valve opening. Can some help me? I some suggestions
  2. If you put a resenator on your exhaust system it should quite qown abit.
  3. Hey mate, Do you have a pic of carb without the airfilter on , I need to see if the top two square valve's are hooked up to anything? thanks
  4. Thats not what I need to now, I need to see where all the hoses hook up to , on a 32/36 dgv there are to valve's that open up on tpp, there isn't anything that hook's on to mine? I just need to see where all the linkage's hook up too.
  5. I just received my 32/36 dgv weber. Does anyone have pics of there 32/36 dgv setup on a 3k motor, so can put my on correctly?

  9. Does any one like these carbs on 3k? Does anyone know it takes to put one on a stock 1977 1.2 3k? Also if it is fitted for a 4K will the jets be good for a 3K-c?
  10. I had bought the car with the fan not at all. but I'll try and tap it to see if it works. Do you know what other toyota uses this fan motor where I can take it out of. thanks for help
  11. cheers thanks for the info. but does anyone know how to check a blower motor(heater fan), to see if it is good.
  12. Does anyone know how to check a heater fan when it is not hooked up to there car. I'm not sure if it the fan is the problem or if it is this spring that the heating wires are hooked up to. Does anyone know what the spring piece is called, and if that could be the problem? I'm working on a 1977 corlla (KE30), with a Aircon in it, but it is not working. cheers :(
  13. Jarsky, if you could send pics that would awsome. Cheers Here's some more info about my car, I'm looking to put a Weber 28/36 dcd carb on a stock 3k-c motor( 1977 corolla, with a 4sp.). Everything is original on the car I just ordered a weber28/36 carbie. I just need to know what is required to install this carb. and some good suggestions to go along with it, to get extra power out out of this engine. Later on I'm going to get a 2" exhaust with extracters, but for right now I don't have much money so I'm going to start with a carb. thanks Felix

  15. I'm trying to find out if a 28/36 dcd weber will fit straight on a 3K-c engine, (I know I need an adapter plate,( I'm in the process of looking for one)). But I'm not sure if I should jet it down, and if so, what should I jet it down to? Can someone tellme what I need to do for this job, if it is required.

  17. Can someone tell me what I'll need to a fit Weber 28/36 DCD on a stock 1.2 litre 1977 corolla ke30. i never worked on a carb before. I'm use to working on fuel injected. can some one tell me what I need to fit this carb on my car , do I just jet it down ? If anyone can give some kind of info this subject, I would greatly appreciate it.
