Getting serviced and waiting on a few bits and pieces, then when the springs arrive gregor will be putting them in and working on the rust... Ah well it will be worth the wait for sure :y:

Hey guys, just wondering whether anyone knows what car this radiator is from? Reason is, that my car has had a 4age conversion and a larger radiator installed, complete with custom mounts welded in. For simplicity reasons i would like to identify it in order to get a new one (old one is leaky). Here are some pics. I can take more if needed! I would just like to have a quick rant about how much females get ripped off by dodgy mechanics. I live in darwin right. And when my car was on the truck from sydney the people couldnt get it to start in adelaide to get it on the next truck. And fair enough, it wasnt the truckies problem so i called up a mobile mechanic to go and see whats the go. He got there eventually, called me an hour and a half later saying, "ahhh ya motahs buggered mate. Needs a new one. *phone cuts out* oil all over the spark plugs *phone crackles* low compression in all pistons, it's basicly fuked mate." and i was like. "So you've tried everything? You can't even get it turning over???" "Nah not a chance mate it's buggered ay." So i had to pay autotrans another 700 bucks (ontop of the 1515 bucks I was already paying) to get it put on the truck that carries undrivable cars instead. It gets here... jump start it... starts immediately.... Compression test... 150 across the board. Spark plugs? New! :dance:

Hi steve! This is pretty funny cos it was just yesterday that I was contemplating starting a thread here asking for help on how to get into lap sprints haha. I've been to pretty much every track day and have always wished I could just get out there and see what its like. I have just bought my first car, a ke70 with a 4age in it. Along with the car (but hasnt arrived yet) is $2600 worth of racing suspension which I really want to put in, despite the many offers of people wanting to buy it off me.... (luke :)) The only thing is i'm like the biggest beginner ever, I've only been driving for just over a year and have no idea what I'm up against. But I really want to get into the sport! So yeah, any advice on where to begin would be awesome :yes:
