  1. Reverse wires? OK, I never would have guessed that! Thanks man. Yeah mate, that thick black wire and plug comes off the same loom? Splits just before the Oil pressure and Water temp.
  2. medicine_man, you might be able to help me, this picture shows a factory loom running across the engine bay against the firewall (don't thinks its spose to be) 4# On this loom is the water temp and oil pressure (found these no problems) There is also 2 Red/Blue wires? 5# And this plug on a think black wire? 6# Enlighten me please?
  3. Thanks heaps mate! What size fuse do I use for the #2 Power feed fuseable link? Is picture #1 wiring aftermarket? Just the the KE70 wiring diagram I have has no purple wires?
  4. Just bought a KE70 Wagon with a 20V as a project thats been half done. I kind wish I had done the conversion because at least then I could've marked down every wire I pulled off as to where they all go. But this is what I bought into. I'm a little confused, the battery tray in the engine bay is goneski's, and I take it that somehow the fuse box mounts off it? (1st ever KE70 that I've looked at)Coz its just dangling. Being that all the starter and battery wiring is also gone, I have nothing to go off. I need a hand with identifying what some these wires are. Can anyone please help me. #1 These 4 that come off the main harness from the inner guard and head into the fusebox, Red/White, Green/White, Purple and Black/Brown #2 This Plug that runs of the fusebox? On the 4AC AE86 sprinter that I wired up AE82 4AGE the Black/White was starter (I used it as starter sence for the ECU) is that the same on KE70? #3 Also, I need to ID the ALT wires from the fuse box. I take it that the thick White is Trace and White/yellow is Sense.... But I looks like there is no Ignition (for 20V ALT)? Do I just run that off a relay? Or am I missing something? I have more questions, but this will do for starters. Any help would be greatly welcomed as I'm doing this on a budget and I'm going to have to do all the wiring myself. Thanks, Al.
  5. So that is just a stock KE70 brake line I'm looking at?
  6. This is my 1st KE70 and i'm not really sure what parts have been used here. This is what I have on the passenger side I just want to replicate that for the other side. Looks like a joiner in the middle? Or has the KE70 line just had the X130 line added to it? Or something made up?
  7. KE70 - XT130 Struts - What brake lines Bought a project fitted with XT130 struts and LCA,s On the Driver side the metal brake line is non existant and can't find it anywhere! So, just wondering if I use stock KE70 metal brake line and flexible hose, or do you use XT130 parts? Thanks, Al.

I am thinking of using one of these. http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_detail.php?part_number=BTF35Z I found a page on toymods where a guy had successfully used a AE86 sway bar on a KE70, so the link pin position on the XT130 Strut is my biggest concern. But, as you can see the link pin is an adjustable piece with 3 settings so I think I'll get away with it.
  9. Car - KE70 Wagon Problem - Just bought this, has XT130 Struts and LCA's, but no sway bar or sway bar link pins. Is this like this for a reason? Did a search found alot of XT130 conversion post, but nothin that addressed my question. My question is will a KE70/AE71 or AE86 Sway bar and link pins fit with XT130 Struts and LCA's? Any one who has done XT130 Strut upgrade who knows the answer/solution to this please let me know. I read in another forum that the KE70/AE71 wagon swaybar is bigger than the sedan...Is this correct? *I'm Hoping that I can use a AE86 one so I can get the 24mm Adjustable Whiteline! But can someone please confirm this will actually work? Thanks all, Al.
  10. My friend has AE90/Holden nova with dead 4A-FC twin cam carb motor. I've been looking for cheap 4A-FC but no luck, I found a low km well price 4A-FE injected motor and want to know if the carbi intake manifolds and exhuast manifold are direct bolt up fit? Also will it bolt up to the gearbox the same way? Engine mounts the same? Anyone know? I'd do a whole EFI conversion for her but she doesn't have the money.
