alright well I'm heading to pedders tomorrow to hit up a front and rear setup for the rolla! then gotta get tyres for my wheels. what size should i go so they don't throw my speedo out. 15x6? 195/50/15? ordering spark plug tubes and rubbers to stop the leaks. woop

those wheels were enkai. i didnt want them so the seller kept them. didnt think it was that hard to find steelies in 15" and 114.3x4 there NO WHERE!

anyone got a tutorial on how to remove and replace the spark plug tubes? as I'm getting oil leaks from there?!

thanks guys, ill try sus out some new leafs! might just grab some blocks in the meantime to get the car sitting right and then smash out some decent front shock/spring combo!

also, can u lower the rears by using lower shocks or do u need to mod the leafs? i read in the faq that block give u more axle tramp and shit.. hmmm..

i don't want dodgy shit.. i would rather buy a good set of springs and fit them!

thanks. ideally i wanna drop the car abit lower (not too much) but also try and improve handling in the mean time. i had a ke70 which ran ajps coilovers in to front and falcon cut springs in the rear, but don't wanna spend 950 on front coilovers! and i have never had a car with leaf springs! PS. where is the FAQ thread?

hey all, well yesterday i purchased my first ke30! straight overrated body, fendor mirrors, overrated interior, 5k engine and 4spd box. few questions as i have never had a car with leaf springs. 1- how do i go about lowered the rear 1.5inches approx? 2- what front shock/spring setup can i use for the front? coilovers? 3- engine is a 5k, what carbie setup should i look at? 4- what gearbox should i look at for a 5speed? i don't really wanna change much as i wanna keep it as original (body and inside) as possible. gonna hit up some r31 chaser wheels with white walls for a clean old school look. cheers

hey all, I'm looking for some 14x6 +26 wheels for my ke30. these will sit good? it was a toss up between ssr mk1 in above size or a cheap option of r31 chasers. what you guys think? cheers

now i know everyone talks about putting a hilux diff or a t series diff in there ke70.. now i was thinking if diffs can be shortened and mounts re-welded.. can i fit a s13 diff in the e7? the car has a ca18det and ca gearbox so the diff will do well in the car and will be alright for drifting. will also be able to find 1.5way and 2ways easy as there a popular car (s13) so can these diffs fit? cheers fellow rolla people! adrian

hey all, have a 1982 ke70 which has ca18det in it. now i want to run s13 front end and brakes, coilvers etc. just wondering what are al the parts i would need to bolt it all in.. I'm going with s13 sr20de brakes and calipers, s13 coilovers with ae86 tops. don't know if i need xmember or what? nuckles? lca's? should i just get a full s13 front end? any ideas? cheers all. oh and i looked through simons ke70 sr20det build and couldnt find exactly what he used..
