  1. Hey guys....great cars...well done to all sorry i couldn't come on the cruze (i was in the blue lancer VRX at bunnings about 12.20pm) but we had things to do.....(wedding stuff) would have loved to go along .. even better if my rolla was on the road Ohh well there is always next time Cheers all Mick
  2. a quick word of advice....although the kill switch is a good idea...in the video (linked on here) the place that the switch was wired into is one of the first places a theif would look if they were to hot wire the car.. no amount of tape etc will cover up the fact that the original wiring has been tampered with... the best place (if you wish to proceed with the switch) is further underneath the dash back towards the firewall or below (under) a relay panel as they can often look messy with wires.....
  3. have to find that bongo van......mate of mine had one as his bedroom when he lived on th YP as a kid lol :)
  4. i should be there for part of the cruze but i hope you guys don't mind if i don't come in my rolla as she is officially off the road (no engine)
  5. spotted a stock as ke30 in mustard yellow ( brown) sitting at the bottom of my driveway waiting for mods lol
  6. The best, cheapest and most reliable option is to purchase standard led's and solder the resistors to them....you can get them from Tandy's, Dick Smith's Jaycar etc.....it has been done so many times, very simple
  7. what do you mean by "be warned i have never herda 2/3t sound nice" ? as in exhaust sound?
  8. COOOOLLLLLLL!!!!!!!! sounds like the way to GO!! Thanks
  9. advise please? i currently have a 4ac to be fitted to my KE30 but i have seen a 3T that i can get hold of but i'm not sure which would be the better option as you don't read too many 3t's or 4ac's on here
  10. tried that ...still waiting...but i spose i have nothing but time :P thanks all.
  11. thankyou for your help...any ideas where to look for a t series box?...can't seem to find one
  12. 4a was the cheapest at the time couldn't locate a 5k besides old box is auto and i want to lose that.... definately not a 4age (the one i looked at i didn't think was good for the money) i know that the 4ac isn't the best motor but seemed like the first step forward from the 3k for me
  13. yes i recently purchased a 4ac to replace the tired 3k
  14. i haven't yet but i am planning to do it. i was also told i could use a k series box is that true?
  15. I need help with a gearbox as in i don't have one to fit a 4AC.... what would be the better box to go behind this and where am i likely to get one from ??? Thanks, Mick
