Oh nice let me know how they go champ, on the other note i did some more work to it today just sanding it back bog n primer on the pannels, chucked in the lowerd springs in the rear I'm thinking they are waayyy to low my 14's probably wont even fit! haha. all good tho I'm just going to cut my other ones :y: Pic's!; LAYIN LOW :y: What do you guys think, in my opinion its gangsta low but mite be too low haha :dance:

Hey, i would reccomend if your car is getting hot at this stage, try flushing your radiator usually the old ke70 are full of sludge, change the thermostat and gasket (like $11.00 from super cheap) then refill it back with new coolant. it should make an improvement, well it did to mine atleast. - hey guys new update did a fair bit of work today on it, Picked up the new boot for it sanded it back and painted it in primer for the time being, starting to cut rust out nd bog it back up. picked up my self a boss kit for my new wheel, threw that on. also picked up a set of cut springs (saves me cutting them) from justin today, i'll be throwing those in tomoro hopefully after it passes rwc so it should be laying low soon, sick of this 4wd height. I'll let the pics do the talking. Boot lid half way through sanding back. finished in primer. Cutting rust. boot lid on. should be ready to paint soon :dance:

- Hey, Quick update, Picked up a set of extractors today thanks to Tom, gave them a quick sand down and respray with heat proof black paint, also picked up a new bonnet as the old one was rusted to the shit house, picking up a new bootlid tomoro with no rust. painted the centre window frames black on the rear windows it came out pretty good. Getting exhaust made up and installed with new extractors this week coming, Pics!, Extractors when i picked them up. After being sanded back and painted still needs one more coat. new bonnet being painted tomoro hopefully. The painted window frame. The pig as she sits. lol can't wait to get it lowerd. picking up the wanabes tonight hopefully! need to get some tyres then she should look overrated! :thumbsup:

Ahh, yep thats the south side for ya. bunch of low life doll bludging tools. was probs a few noongahs looking for ur fuel line couldnt find it in time so they took what they can trade in at cashies for some sniff money :L

haha i got a new thermostat cover thingo from that ke70 a few posts up at park ridge, most of the other stuff is long gone, does any one know where i can find a half decent bonnet and boot lid for an 82 model flat front ke70? I'm also after a passanger window winder thingo as my bolt has been stripped so i can't wind it down, (forgot the right name for it) if any one knows of anything like that just send me a pm. Hey guys, I'm keen as to paint my project car i have all the materials and all the paint you need. i was wondering if any one knows a decent painter who wont charge an arm and a leg, all i need is them to paint it with the colour and then spray it with clear top coat. i will deliver the car in primer ready to go. Hey guys hope use had a good xmas, Did a clean up on the engine today, used about 6 cans of degreaser and its still got heaps of grease lol. but it looks way cleaner now, flushed out the radiator and filled it with new coolannt. did abit of a tune on it and it runs great now. on another note, went to the paint shop today and bought 2L of the silver i've decided to paint. primer and clear top coat. also sand paper etc, so i should get stuck into it on this weekend coming once i pick up the new bonnet and boot lid, (thats if I'm not too hung over from new years haha) Picked up a set of wantabes 14x6.5 will have pics of them soon as i pick them up, also going to pickup the extractors for it tomoro and i'll have the exhaust done sometime this coming week. -Dan

Finnally got around to installing the new gauges. i now know what temprature shes running at woohoo ;) heading to the wreckers soon as they open to pick up the new bonnet and boot lid aswell as carona lca's and a celica rear sway bar. thanks keith :thumbsup:

I was able to wire up 3 gauges today with this guide in about an hour and half. Oil pressure water temp and volts. i ran a single earth line to the chassy of the car and connected all three earths to this one. aswell for the ignition 12v i ran 3 cables off the one, it was much easyer this way and less mess. they work perfectly and i now know how hot my car is! :thumbsup: Thanks heaps mate good work.

Hey bud nice ride, i just got my first car ke70 rolla :thumbsup: i'll have my p's soon too :D had my L's suspended for 3months lol :) but anyway, if u don't want to muck around multiplying miles etc. just grab another dash shouldnt cost to much and it would plug straight in, if not I'm pretty sure u can find a digital tacho. anyways man GL with ur ride ;) have fun.

yep, i was sorta confused with the water temp, i had my eye on that but theres another one that looks similar so i didnt know which, but thanks heaps man and I'm pretty sure i know where the oil one is cheers mate.

Hey guys, ive recently decided to throw in some new gauges of mine as the ones on the dash board have stopped working, just wanted to ask here before i go searching mindlessly around and still have no answer. so if some one knows it wouldnt hurt to much to just explain in a few breif words :thumbsup:, i just wanted to know where abouts is the standard water temprature sensor and where about do i fit the oil pressure sensor onto a 4k engine? cheers guys.

oh true well that seems reasonable i guess, where abouts are you in? I'm in SE brisbane so I'm trying to find a half decent shop that wont charge me half a million. :thumbsup: i was think 2inch max aswell, to twin tips or just a dump.

thanks mate. I'm not so fussed on a cam just yet. Main things I'm wanting to do is suspension and exhaust. Also starting some pannel work on it this saturday. Cutting out the rust and patching it back up. So it shud be painted and rust free by next weekend hopefully. Just so busy atm with work. Btw guys this is my first car haha. I get my ps next month. Had my Ls suspended for 3 months awhile ago. Haha :lol: as for the window frames it wouldnt be a bad idea. Mine are a bit rusted. If i paint it black i mite. But yenh thinking about keepin it silver lol
