  1. the tounge on dizzy is sweet, so must be timing chain, will start pulling apart. what marks do i have to get lined up?? do i have to take the hole sump off or just few of the front bolts?? thanks heaps guys
  2. guy i bought the engine from said it was a fresh rebuild. i had it running but when it was a had to keep my foot flat to the floor then it died and wouldnt start again!! i tryed to jump start it and it turns over but the dizzy still doesnt turn.. snapped timing chain?? how hard are they to replace??
  3. what do you mean? i turned it over with a socket on the pully and i took the dizzy cap off and the rotor isnt turning?? and its sitting right down in the slot??
  4. hey guys my dizzy isnt turning?? the part in the engine that turns the dizzy is stuck! is that a easy fix?? thanks heaps
  5. ok guys its not sparking now!!! power to the coil, but theres 12v at the resistor?? can someone put up a picture or diagram of how it hooks up..thanks
  6. yep the timing was way out, got it started, now not starting again!! and when it was going i had to keep my foot flat to the floor to keep it going?? ill try get it going good then sell it, going to put it on here now, going back to nz.. cheers guys
  7. hey guys, just got a 5k engine and put it in my ke55! problem now is it wont start, its getting fuel to carby and sparking, set the timing and still not going, not to sure about how the dizzy sits in and that...anyone git any ideas??
  8. ive just spent ages out in the shed trying the grease trick, not going to happen.. the seal on the bearing isnt there so the grease just comes out there!! I'm just going to go buy the tool, its $100 but i need to get it out and grease isnt working.. thanks for all your help though guys!
  9. hey guys thanks for the replys, ive tried the grease trick unfortunatly it didnt work for me, is there anyone up on the northside brissy that knows where to get the tool from or has anyone got one i can borow?? need it asap.. wanting to put the new engine in today... thanks
  10. hey guys i just got a new spigot bearing, wanting to know how to get the old one out? is there a special tool to use?? any help will be muchly appreciated thanks..
