  1. I live down at carlton, just past sorell. Well i'm gonna stick with the 6 speed til i decide to upgrade and get more power, then i'll convert to 5 speed. The car is being resprayed black. Was black before but was a crappy paint job so now me and dad are respraying it. Yeah i was thinking about weatherhead to do my tailshaft, just gotta source to gearbox yolk first, which is proving to be rather difficult. Anthony
  2. Hey mate, awesome job you're doing there. I'm doing the exact same conversion myself actually. Have been for the last year and a half actually lol. Just been lacking the motivation to get it going. My motor is the S15 version. I'm only running the standard T28 to start with. What turbo have you got there? She's looking good so far. I've only gotta get a tailshaft made up, which is proving difficult as I can't seem to source a yolk for the 6 speed box anywhere, and the cooler piping and exhaust. Then I'm all set to have a drive of her. The funny thing is your dash looks almost identical to mine. Same guages and everything lol. I'm about a half an hours drive from Hobart. SR corollas represent haha. Cheers, Anthony
  3. Yeah mate, the dimmer switch was plugged in. It's all sorted now, I replaced the switch with another one and she all works perfectly now ;) Thanks, Anthony
  4. Hi all, I'm in the process of putting my dash back together with new gauges etc but cannot seem to get the dash lights working. None seem to get power when the headlights etc are turned on. Every thing else electrical in the car is working spot on (headlights, indicators ect) bar the dash lights. One thing I have done however (which I probably shouldn't have done just yet) was to cut the wiring on the passenger side of the car just underneath the wiper motor. Is any of the wires needed to make my dash lights go again. I'm starting to get angry with my car because of this lol. I have also checked all fuses over and over again too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Anthony
  5. radrollaz, thanks for that information mate. It's what I wanted to hear. I'd love to get the old faithful measuring tape out, but I don't have access to an S15 to do so or the motor itself til i get it. Thanks all for your help. Cheers, Anthony
  6. Thanks for the replys guys, I have already brought a larger brake master cylinder to go with my bigger brake setup its just that my supplier sold my S13 motor on me and have an S15 one they want to sell me. I know the plenum is different, but just curious as to whether anyone has tried fitting one before in a rolla with the commo style brake master. If not I may have to go with a KE30 booster/pajero master if this setup is physically smaller than my current one. All help is much appreciated Cheers, Anthony
  7. Hi all, I know this is probably the last place i should be asking this, but i thought what the hell, a few of you have done SR20s into KEXX rollas before so no harm in asking. I was putting an S13 SR20DET motor and box into my KE55 but the supplier decided to tell me today that they had sold my conversion package on me, but was given an alternative proposition for not much more money. An S15 SR20DET conversion package :P Now my question is, how different are the intake plenums? I have a commodore style brake master cylinder and am worried that the motor will not fit properly in the bay. I am very keen on this motor but don't want to get it to find out that I can't fit it. If there are any other differences please let me know. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, Anthony PS. I'll get a project thread going when everythings sorted.
