  1. Hi Guys,

    Ive got a ke11 that I'm fixing up and converting it from a standard 3k carby to a 3k efi using a manifold out of a townace. I'm sure its been done pleanty times before but just wanting some tips on a ecu? thinking of using a microtech as ive used the past and also want to know if anyone has any alternator upgrade Ideas? should I use a standard efi alternator from a 7k or modify something else to fit?

  2. Hi guys. Am just trying to sort out my my preferred height for my ke11.

    Have converted front drums to ke15 discs in the front, have some ke20 front springs on ke11 front struts. Also have removed the front transverse leaf spring and will put in a sway bar. But before I install the sway bar I want to get the correct height. With the 30mm lowered ke20 springs it way to high and wondering how you guys have managed to lower the car without chopping springs?

    Any help is appreciated

    I have a 1970 ke11 that ive purchased a month ago and realised that it dosent have rear seat belts.

    I'm not sure if that's factory and wont be required for nsw blue slip?

    I have recently seen another ke11 for sale and it does have rear seat belts and now I'm a little confused. If anyone knows what is factory and what is required it would be much appreciated.

    Been a member for a while and have finally purchased a 1971 ke11 corolla.

    At the moment its original and was sitting around in a shed for about 5years.

    I'm planning a 7k conversion and wanted to upgrade the front brakes from drums

    to discs. Ive read that the simplist will be a ke20 front brake setup. I

    believe they also have the same stud pattern which will enable me to keep the

    12inch wheels and chrome dress rims.

    Can anyone help as to what I will need exactly? and if someone has bits and

    pieces for sale. Would like to eventually lower the front and rear.

  5. hi guys i just wanted to find out what the differences between the ke10 and ke11 is?

     

    Also is it just my imagination or from looking threw all the ke10 and ke11 photos i could find do some have a different rear end? sometimes some cars look like they have a shorter boot and more rounded then others?? or maybe its just me?

     

    any help would be appreciated

  6. Hey Guys Got a funny joke sms to me and thought you's would like it. Here goes:

     

    Hey mate really need your advice. I suspected for some time now that the misses has been cheating. The usual signs: phone rings, if i answer the caller hangs up, going out with the girls a lot... I try to stay awake to look out for her when she comes home but i usually fall asleep. Anyway last night about midnight i hid in the shed behind my dirt bike when she came home, she got out of someones car. She was buttoning up her blouse and she took her panties out of her purse and slipped them on. It was at that moment i crouched behind the bike and realised....... a hairline crack in the manifold. Is that something i can fix or do i need to take it to a mechanic?

    Does anyone know what ive gotta do with it

     

    there should be a little tensioner with a spring on it. losen it off, turn the engine by hand and then retighten the tensioner... otherwise it could be hydrolic tensioner... i can't remember which model has that...
