i was wondering around looking for parts

and no one would guess what i came accross..!!!

my old corolla seca sitting there..

I was devastated last time I saw a car of mine in the wreckers - it had forklift punch holes thru the doors and had obviously been in a car sandwich - viscious marks over the roof and bonnet.

um, why? if you were that devastated then why did you get rid of it in the first place?

I think the words "Uneconomical to repair" came into the equation! :)

yeah but its not like you can go "oh my poor car" and be all upset, when you're the one who sold it in the first place. if it was that dear to you, you'd keep it and repair it. right?

Nah - it was a spare - the body was in awesome condition but the motor was farked - the gearbox was farked and I just couldnt be bothered with the time or $$$ to get in back on the road ..... got shit all for it from the wreckers and I figured they'd strip the guards and interior for a few $$ to recover their costs but nope - there it was up on the stack - unloved and unwanted

i nearly cried... i miss it sooo much

 

and it being a repairable write off the insurance company wanted to much for me to but back off them...

So what actually happened?

It may be a stupid question but it still looks pretty clean

a car kut me off in the rain / oily road.. i swerved to miss it... breakes locked up and i headed straight for a truck... (tilt tray) and trhe corner of the tilt tray went through the a and b pillar and yea it was classed as a strucual wtire off
