Marques in the Park 2007 & Rolla Club ACT 1st Annual Show & Shine

 

This year will also be the Rolla Club ACT 1st annual Show & Shine sponsored by Pharley's Spares & Repairs and we will be inviting members from other states as well as other clubs to come along as well.

I do not care if it is a rust bucket or a work in progress. I will have my Hill Climb car as well as my Corolla Sprinter there even if it is still a work in progress.

 

The Rolla Club Show & Shine is open to both members and non-members and all Corolla models as well as Corolla based cars such as the Sprinter and Holden Nova as well as imports.

The 5th annual Marques in the Park is on Sunday the 25th November 2007.

 

This years theme is 100 years 1000 vehicles

 

Event Details:

8.00 - 9.00 am Gather next to Commonwealth avenue Bridge (optional)

 

9.00 am - Cruise, to John Knight Park

 

10.00 - 3.00 Kick back and relax

 

Remember this event is for everybody:

 

Young and Old, People and Cars

Bog stock to Hot Rod

Primer to Polished

Street Cars to Street Machines

Rusty to Restored

Hacks to Show Cars

Push bikes to Drag cars

 

Trade Stalls and food will be at the park.

 

Marques in the Park has grown from 200 cars in 2003 to over 550 in 2006, this year we are hoping to get 1000 vehicles on display, showcasing over 100 years of vehicles from the Canberra region. So tell you clubs and your friends and join in the fun on the 25 November 2007.

 

Marques in the Park is the Spring time motoring display for the Council of ACT Motor Clubs.

Entry to Marques in the Park and the Rolla Club ACT display for you and your car is FREE, however entry for your car to the show & shine is by $10.00 donation.

Entry to the Rolla Club ACT Show & Shine will close on the 5th October 2007. Full payment on the day; NO late entries will be accepted. All cars must be in place by 10am.

Sounds like fun, i'll try to get a group of new model rolla's there as well.

Entries close on the 5th of October guys. At this stage not enough entries to run the show and shine so come on and enter you car and support your club. If we can not run the show and shine we will still have a club display and your car will still be needed.
