Some K50 gearboxes come with a 19 spline input shaft and some with a 21 spline and the K40 is a 19 spline

The Victorian Police Force (or should that be farce?) don't know how to read those plates. Half of them wouldn't know the difference between a K engine and a 350 chev

I've driven my ke70 with 4k for about 400kms with no water and I'm sure it had no oil as well (as over heating burns oil) and still ran that engine for 2 years after that. Only "special" people can kill K engines

Once again a HUGE thank you goes out to Steve for assisting (ok, for doing most of the work) with my grinding to a halt rear brakes. And I forgot to thank Steve last time when the ball joint fell out. That was a fun outing :) I think I should start getting the car fixed/maintained BEFORE things grind or fall out, although it is amusing to see how bad I can get the car with it still running :P I don't know what I would do with a normal mechanic

Yeah, because I knew someone else had stuffed up how the dizzy went in. He has also said that it could be the battery to which I can give him a jump start. And at least i offered to help instead of "probably help out" ;)
