hey I'm 16 and i am just learning about mechanics and i want to buy a small car that is not rd worthy but engine is still god and runs good just to muck around on and learn shit and pull stuf apart and put it back togeather i was wondering if you guys have any ideas on what i should get I'm looking at something about 150 - 205 so it is only a small amount thanks for your help guys

ok thanks cheers guys. Grimwolge what is your name on boost and yea ive spoke to supercamry and they said there kool with it now all i gotta do is talk me parents into letting me stick it in there back yard.

jsut a note, would you like to learn about carby or efi, basisicly if your look at becoming a machanic you'll most proberly deal more with efi, due to it being the in think, though carbys rock so yeah, mmmmm sidedraft webbers, one throat per cylender.... lalala mmmmmm

yeah carby the best to learn on, but unforenly due to everyhting being efi these days, you may have to learn alot of efi to be a machanic

 

with efi its more daunting but i donno bout more exspensive, well actually yes it is but, for example hardware + software to tune ecu 180bucks and theres all your tunnig to a degre down... though unleash the carby and yeah

I don't think hes planning to be a mechanic as such, just to learn some more about cars...

 

I meant cost as in your going to have to buy a more recent car which is gonna cost more (like a twinky AE82 or 92)

I'm looking at becoming a mechanic but for now i want a carby engine to work on but my parents are up tight about me leaving it in there yard as they say there is no room grrrr i hate it so much.

some 1 needs to make a corolla shed - where there are endless rows and isles of Ke ** / Ae ** and Te ** parts / cars / etc stacked as high as the eye can see
