ancullen
Hell yes I'd be jealous. It'd take a fair bit of work to install, but to have a fifth/sixth generation Eaton supercharger instead of the equivalent of a third generation, there'd be a significant decrease in drag from the supercharger, and a corresponding increase in boost. Harrop Engineering informed me that the new TVS superchargers spin at up to something like 20,000rpm.

ancullen
Correction to my previous comments. I've just checked the email I received from Harrop. The new SIXTH generation Eaton supercharger is a four lobe unit vs. three lobe for the previous generations. Harrop recommended a 1320cc/min item for me (I was asking about the M90 from the supercharged Commodores). They tested a pre-production unit at up to 20,000rpm. The price for a new four lobe blower? About $2,000. Oh, and for reference: Toyota SC12: 1200cc/rev x 12,000rpm max = 14,400L/min Toyota SC14: 1420cc/rev x 12,000rpm max = 17,040L/min Eaton M90 (Commodore): 1475cc/min x 12,000rpm max = 17,700L/min Eaton R1320 (New TVS): 1320cc/min x 16,000rpm (CONSERVATIVE) = 21,120L/min Eaton R1320 (New TVS): 1320cc/min x 20,000rpm max = 26,400L/min!!! Interesting article with info about TRD testing different superchargers on TRD Aurion. BTW, I *think* the R1320 is the supercharger being used on the TRD Aurion. Not certain though. And capacities on the new R-series (TVS) superchargers range from 350cc to 2300cc. NICE!!!

ae174agze
i herd some where that the Sc12 don't hold up spinning over 10k rpm and that they break
Pure-SX
Some people spin them over 10000 easily without breakage some others break lol. its one of those things, quicker its spinning for a period of time theoretically quicker it will break/fail/wear out
